At the end of the day, we must walk away with new starters at the following positions after FA and the draft:

NT
ILB
RB
RG

I am pretty confident our 1st and 2nd rounders can start. Banking on a 3rd and 4th rounder to start is tricky and I highly doubt it happens. That is the reason we need to find another starter in FA. We can't gamble on the draft solving all of our problems. I wish we could but this team doesn't draft well and having Bruce run the draft gives me ZERO confidence in our strategy and the players we take.

I think the moves so far in FA have been respectable. We traded two average D-lineman for two others, we traded imo two #2 receiver's for potentially one #1 receiver at less than have the cost, we answered our problems at safety imo. While I also agree we need a NT, but we cant brake the bank for one. We have to save that for Kirk

Well, our RB situation was pretty poor last year. I like Kelly but I am not sure he is the answer. We were ranked 21st in the NFL in rushing. With DJax and Garcon leaving, our passing game will take a hit clearly. We could not run the ball at all it seems. I think a lot of that has to do with a lack of talent with our RB corps.

While our OLine is much improved, the LG situation is not settled and we need an upgrade and stability.

That doesn't make sense. Kirk's 24 million is already taken into account. Also, if you are referring to his LTD, thats not happening.

Because it would have already happened by now if it was going to. The damage is already done. I thought that was common knowledge he wasn't signing here? Pretty much all sources confirm it is not happening and the situation is irreparable.

That was total yards. We were ranked 8 in YPA...a much more important stat.

I think you need to redefine generational.

My point is RB is not a need...we could possibly use an upgrade but it isn't a need.
