the Cavs were never going to resign Mozgov. He had lost all confidence and didnt even play in the playoffs. If the Cavs are going to commit money to a guy he has to be a guy who plays in the playoffs- I think thats why they went and got Korver----Mozgov was a mess by the time he left- and considering how he has played in LA- the Cavs werent wrong.

Cavs problem isn't, and hasn't ever been offense.
This current Cavs D isn't winning any rings IMO.

Warriors eyes lit up every second Korver was on the court.

Seems pretty short sighted considering Lebron was looking to be able to rest in the regular season, but instead is leading the league in mpg and whining that he needs help.
well shit injuries happen- Mo, Anderson and Smith all went down. They will still get LeBron his rest later in the year. He is still at less minutes then he was his last 2 years in Miami- and the Cavs have rested him some games.

LeBron right now is #2 in minutes per game- but becuase of the games he was rested by the Cavs he is not even in the top 10 in minutes played in the league. (the top 10 is Harden/Wiggins/Lowry/Ariza/Towns/Barnes/RW/McCollum/JButler/KDurant). LeBron was 8th in the league in total minutes his last year in Miami, 16th his 2nd last year, 10th his 3rd last year, and 6th his well- first year.

In Cleveland thus far he is at - this year 15th in the league in minutes, last year he was 18th, and in year 1 he was 30th.

Regardless, as was pointed out in the other thread yesterday, good bench/role players can provide quality minutes which allow the starters to get more rest.
James is forced to lead the league in mpg because if he sits you see what happens a lot of the time.

Which is exactly why Lebron is right...Unless you think rookie 5 foot 8 kay felder and d league player Jordan Mcrae are an upgrade

resign Waiters and make him a focal part of your offense and win nothing for the next XXXX years. It would be great. Waiters is great with the ball in his hands- his team just isnt- not over any significant period of time. Hey- l love Waiters talent- but for Waiters to be happy he has to have the ball- and if Waiters is one of your top 2 ball handlers your not going anywhere. You just arent. Your team isnt good enough.

Resign Johnson too- Heat already have 60M committed to next year with only Dragic, Whiteside, TJOhnson (and thats BEFORE Johnsons salary balloons from 6M to 19M the year after- so that 15M gap makes it IMPERATIVE they jump into the free agent market THIS year and NOT next year where 14M would be gobbled up for nothing), Ellington and McRoberts, Winslow, Richardson

you have a projected cap of 102 M....you want to resign JJohnson and Waiters? What? in todays market...id guess at a minimum of 20M combined.

sounds like the basis for another irrelevant eastern conference team to me.

(and this is considering Bosh goes 100% to plan and hes taken off even though I have already read articles where the Bulls will be willing to give him every opportunity that they can without their doctors telling him he is in danger)

BTW, lol at the Bosh comment.
WTF does it even mean?
You think the Bulls or anyone else is gonna sign up to watch him potentially die on their watch, before he can prove he can take NBA type contact.

I'm still waiting for the Bosh social media video of him playing full contact ball.
I'd settle for seeing him role around on the floor with his kids at this point.

Circle jerk argument.
He had role players that were let go because he chose to overpay his clients.

Miami cut him on purpose waiting for the exact day so he couldn't join a team this year, they could care less about his health...What happened to the family values?

you are exactly right in that- no dleague player is helping a title contender this year in actual pressure minutes. -not even Felder or McRae are. LeBron is exactly right in that.

I seriously still do not know how LeBron asking for a veteran backup point guard has turned into the Cavs needing a 4th star or big roster changes. It cracks me up. The Cavs are 1st in the East and lost some games in January after dealing with some injury issues and a trade. LOL big fucking deal. Last year they fired their freaking coach. lol......

this team is definitely the most mentally tough team in the league. Its how they were able to dig themselves out of a 3-1 hole. When you have LeBron's leadership, a coach that LeBron actually likes and trusts, a GM who always adds a guy, and a very good deep roster- you are gonna do what they have been doing the last 2 years- beating the shit out of the East- and getting into some dman good matchups in the Finals- and as long as they are healthy- id take them against any team- as my above post said- the Cavs have never lost a playoff series where LEBron/Love/Kyrie were mostly healthy.

It's as shaq correctly stated, do you want to win a lot of games and then lose in the ecf or finals or do you want to win? This is what barkely couldn't understand with his stupid i would take my chances with love, irivng and thompson statement. When one team adds Durant to a 73 win team and we lose delly and mozgov and replace them with worse players it really adds to lebrons argument that we need an upgrade...

There is a reason other nba players even green agree with lebron...

i dont care about losing Delly or Mozgov though since they arent gonna help us beat the Warriors- plus Mozgov was shit by the end of his time here- and he has played pretty terribly in LA.

Delly- if they knew Mo Williams was basically lying to them - i think they would have thought more about that one- but at the same time- you cant spend 10M on a guy who didnt help you get to your goal during the playoffs but minimally.

Its why I am glad they got Korver- once he gets integrated into the team i think he will be a very nice addition....it took a while to get Frye integrated- truly- he didnt even get going until this year...

both those guys are shooting over 42% from 3 for the Cavs...thats disgusting.

Ill simply for you.
There are salary caps, and rules.
You cant simply whine like James is now and be allowed to add payroll.
You can though, use Birds right, to keep players and go over the cap.

Cavs had what they now want.

Get it?

you can be creative and find ways to add guys like the Cavs have been able to do to- they traded for Shumpert, Mozgov, JR Smith, Korver, Frye, Dunleavy- some work out- some dont.

your heat used your trade ammo to save $- Dan G. uses it to bring in players.

There wasn't 1 time in 4 years when any Heat player(s) were saying they needed more help.
Heat added plenty of players during the 4 seasons.
Were you in a coma, or just didn't notice that they were in 4 straight Finals, winning 2.

Isn't Delly a veteran backup PG?
