There are guys in this league that know how to handle things without throwing their team mates & FO under the bus. Being a defending champ obviously has nothing to do with that.

some guys can be happy and complacent with losing- while other guys are ALWAYS hungry for more....Its why LeBron will be #2 of all time before all is said and done- because he is never satisfied- never complacent...he keeps pushing the envelope.

When is James' contract up? Got to think if Cleveland doesn't give him what he wants in terms of acquiring better talent and they don't win the title again this year he may look elsewhere.

According to him the Bulls FO was mad when Butler turned down an extension after his 3rd year, back when he was avg like 13 ppg. They told him if he didn't take the extension, they would bench him and ruin his numbers so he would get screwed in FA. Butler turned it down anyway. Then Thibs got word of it and said "fuck that, I'm playing Jimmy"... which was the beginning of the end for Thibs.

This is why Jimmy and Thibs are so close, because Thibs had his back and this is also supposedly one of the reasons why Thibs and the FO had issues. So now Jimmy has this distrust for the Bulls FO and also distrusts Fred Hoiberg* because Jimmy sees Fred as an extension of the FO. And then Wade came over and Jimmy basically told Wade everything that happened and wade sympathized with him because of all the fuck shit he dealt with in MIA which adds to why Jimmy and Wade are so close.

what i learned today is Barkley is a much bigger man than that little bitch Lebron James. Lebron got personal while chuck remained professional.

One thing that stuck out is Barkley is not backing down from his comments and second is, he made sure to note that his criticisms are about basketball.....Oh yeah and also that LBJ lied on Barkley in some of these personal attacks. #AlternativeFacts

The writer of the article did a perfect job of summarizing pretty much why Barkley is not in the wrong here.

He is often misguided but Barkley has a point here as he simply expressed his feelings about James' open questioning of his team's roster. Perhaps James was frustrated with the Cavs' recent struggles and needed to direct his frustrations toward Barkley. But no matter why James reacted the way he did, he was direct and quite personal in his criticisms of Barkley, which the Hall of Famer is refusing to do.

For Barkley, he always critiques the game purely from a basketball level and never factors in anyone's off-court transgressions or personal life. And as Barkley also reminded Waddle & Silvy that he has praised James in the past and has no problem with his game. It's James' comments about his teammates what still bothers Barkley.

Lebron gave up his bargaining chips. He's locked into the Cavs next year as well. Has a player option for the 3rd year.

From the reports back in July, the initial was for about 10 mil yearly. If that is not spitting in the face of a player of Wade caliber then I honestly don't know what is. They thought they could low-ball Wade with the initial offer. Let's not forget this was a man who basically took pay cut after pay cut throughout his career in Miami.
