Well, to be fair, there is some "circumstantial evidence." He is a freakish athlete and the receding hairline at a relatively young age can be sign as well as the fact that he seems pretty immune to injury.

However, both can just as easily be explained by genetics. Did you ever see any of Sman's "Lebron on steroids" threads and posts? Man, that was some funny stuff. He used to pull his "evidence" from some of the most obscure sites. :pound:

If I remember correctly his late father (Roland Bivens) was going bald in HS. He was 1 of the best HS hoopsters I ever saw.

So you'd be a d-bag if you posted proof you don't have yet you mentioned his wife & how he cheats on her? Alrighty then...
Well, tbf, everyone knows that, he's been seen in public in Miami nightclubs with other women.

Why would I post the proof on an internet forum? If I was willing to be an absolute D bag, and share text messages or pics from people in the know, why wouldn't I go to a newspaper and get money for the story?

I have no proof, and I'm full of shit, we'll just stick with that.

NOW look whatcha did...:nono:

got everyone thinking back to the Sman days...:heh:

Didn't know that. So, like I said, genetics explains it all just as easily, if not moreso.

Swaggy P is still shooting 41.8% from 3 which is ridiculous- but i gotta think that his confidence has taken a hit lately...freaking Lakers are 6-24 since December started....its prob hard to stay confident when you are winning 1 out of every 5 games--- but if anyone can do it--- its probably Swaggy P. lol.....he needs to share some of that confidence wih Ingram.

You're not wrong on Swaggy P being able to keep his confidence despite losing. The thing I like about him is also what I don't like about him.

Win or lose, he's the same, goofy as fuck guy and just seems happy to be playing in the NBA. On the other hand, if losing bothered him more, he might actually live up to the level of his talent.

lol...

you'll have to ask one o' these guys about Sman though. dude used to be VERY entertaining around these parts...
Now that you've compared me to him, I'm afraid to ask.

I don't know if I'm getting compared to someone that's actually entertaining, or the village idiot.

Tahts why i siad he should lend some of that confidence to Ingram.---i have seen the Browns destroy a lot of players by over extending them and not giving them the opportunity to succeed and throwing them into the fire too early- and then have them perform poorly and have their confidence ruined------- the Lakers better start taking better care of Ingram in that respect.....you dont want to destroy this guy's confidence. His play has been just abysmal of late.

I dont think real-plus-minus is a GREAt stat--- its a decent one.....but it ranks 441 players in the NBA

Ingram is 441.

NBA Real Plus-Minus - National Basketball Association - ESPN

RPM DEFINITION: "Player's estimated on-court impact on team performance, measured in net point differential per 100 offensive and defensive possessions. RPM takes into account teammates, opponents and additional factors"

I thought Ingram deserved to be the #2 pick- especially after shooting OVER 40% from 3 --- however, right now- he is at under 36% from the field and under 30% from 3--- the under 36% from the field is the worst a small forward has shot in years that has averaged over 20 minutes a night. 42 small forwards average 20 minutes a game- and the only one shooting under 36% is Ingram.....i think Walton at some point has to do something to protect this guy- you dont want to ruin him right off the bat.

If he was juiced up he would have been busted by now.

I completely disagree.

Lance Armstrong got by WADA testing standards for years and I don't think NBA standards are anywhere near as stringent. Look at Alex Rodriguez - the guy served the longest suspension for PEDs in MLB history and never once pissed hot.

Not testing positive -- unless they're storing blood samples and testing years later -- is not 100% proof that players aren't using.

I'm not saying definitively that LeBron has juiced, but if I had to bet, I'd bet he has. Frankly, I assume that somewhere around 70% of all professional athletes have used some sort of PED.

I think all of that stuff should be legalized at the professional level.

I used to think that way too, but my perspective has changed.

The problem I have with that is that if it's legal, likely 99% of professional athletes will be using them. I've got a son, and while I don't for a second think that he'll have the talent to play ML baseball, it would be sad for me to know that if he did, he'd have to ultimately destroy his health to compete at that level.

Well aren't you his neighbor in Bath? Knock on his door & ask him.:D And I've never said he isn't juiced up, just saying there's no proof of it.

I mean, this is an internet forum, even I had proof why would I post it?

I know quite a few people in the sports world, and one of my good friends is best friends with a top NBA player now.

But like I said, even if I start name dropping or giving reasons on to why I know this information, you're just going to say I'm full of shit.

So as far as you're concerned, no I don't have proof lmao

You don't even have to name drop. I already think you're full of shit.

Hehe. Yep, we both live in Bath. In fact, my office is in Montrose - I'm about a three minute drive to his house right now, but I'm not going over there because I don't want to kick the shit out of his body guards again.

I agree, there is no proof that he's juiced.

Yeah, after a slow start, he went through a period recently where he was playing really well, but he has dropped off dramatically lately. Luke thinks he may have hit the dreaded "rookie wall." After all, he played 36 games in college last year and we are 50 games into the season. Add to that the fact that he's logged more minutes than other rookies and it makes some sense.

Hopefully, having 4 days off and getting some quality practice time will help him and the rest of the team. The all-star break should help as well. I'm not too worried about it as I think Luke will get him and the rest of the guys through it.
