I watched the Deions, Brooks, Alexanders, Charlie ward and his roommate Dunne, pooh Richards etc. One year I bought a nice FSU cap in NYC and then a few weeks later Miami was playing FSU ( thinking like 92,93) and me and my friend bet that the winner got to burn the losers hats. After FSU won, he is saying " your not gonna burn my Canes hat, as I am pouring lightening fluid on it , I'm like of course not. Fun watching that stork or whatever it was melt. And then the 28 pt deficit comeback vs Spurrier was great

Nice yeah he had talent but what a great coach, kid could fuck up and he would smile and pat on back. Spurrier and Saban would blow blood vessels and stomp feet like kids. Guy was loyal, refused offers from NFL, usually 20-30 years with a program, religious family man. And his sons all turned out to be decent coaches. Tommy,Terry etc. My kid bought me his book for father's day like 10 years ago, I should read it
