As an element of surprise to close out a game, it could be effective if a team with a lead loses their QB for the 4th Quarter. But it’s something a defense would quickly be able to adjust to. It would have to be practiced by the offense. The single wing is a fascinating offense. Elements of the single wing were brought back by college coaches but more modernized. Gus Malzahn (ironically started as a HS coach) ran a version of it and Urban Meyer ran a version of it.PDay is saying the Jets should run it to win games in the fucking NFL.....LOL.
