Before the bowl season everyone was saying how great the B1G was this year only to see the top 3 teams lose. It's not a slam on anyone on here but mainly on idiotic analysts thinking they know what they are talking about.

And this game proved both teams belonged in a top flight bowl. That was a hell of a battle. Highlights everywhere. Lead changes and highs/lows for both. There is no statement to be made about either conference with that game. Sure, a few others, but not that one.

Um, USC was favored by 7 and won by 3 so how does that make them overrated? You do understand that your losses early and the curb stomping by bama are the only reasons PSU was ranked higher. The result was what was expected by most pundits.

Just take the win with some kind of grace and class.

Penn State was lucky to even be in the game at the end. There will never be another incredible stretch of luck when a major college football team scoreS on 4 consecutive touches of the ball. Other than that lucky streak, SC dominated.

Sorry, I was not questioning the refs, questioning the questionable play calling. My bad. I have no complaints about who won; just wondering about late game decisions. Not just this game but othe rBig1G games.

Those really bad face guarding defenses that ended in back to back PI calls and both of those really bad passes did them in. PSU played themselves out of it, but that was two teams really battling the whole way and we were all very much entertained so mission accomplished.
