We knew that we are going to get run on. You guys thing we have a great defense. We weren't going to stop them cold but they did enough. The offense did shit. Are you denying this?

Denying what? For the most part both the offense & defense sucked last nt. The D had a few good moments (as they usually do), but that was a very small % of their time on the field. Forget about the offense - I refuse to give much credit to a unit that can't tackle, rush the passer or cover anyone.

Dean, it was a blowout. The only thing that hold CAR from not dropping 35pts on us was their own ineptitude, not our defense. but if they were so good, I guess Barry should get a game ball, huh?

I didn't say they were so good, they kept us in the game. If we converted a TD on the 2nd to last drive and got the 2 point its a 3 point game with 5 minutes left. The offense sucked ass last night.

you said they did their job. They gave up almost 500yds. In who's reality world is that doing their job? They let the Carolina offense hold the ball for close to 65% of the time. How is that doing their job? An yes, the offense sucked last night. but my bet is the offense plays better well before this defense does.

We lost TOP b/c the offense kept going 3 and out. The offense couldn't move the ball and put points on the board. that hurts the defense and we were still in the game in the 4th qtr.

If the defense didnt give up on average 50 yards of field position BEFORE making any kind of stop.. .forcing the offense into long field position... maybe just maybe.. we arent in a position for Kirk to give up a sack fumble that turns into a TD.

IF our defense didnt make ever RB on the planet look like Barry Sanders on steroids, maybe we dont get blown out.

This defense has been hot garbage all year. The "BEST" player on the defense is performing at a level a step and a half above Carlos Rogers.

If the offense has got to put up 30 plus points to have a realistic chance of winning... the defense should NOT get Kudo's for one of the few times it performed less than shitty.

Ha Ha Ha. Again, another joke? to put up 450 yds of offense, that takes time. We could not get them off the field. But in a sense you are right. For that is the job this defense has been doing all year, so I guess maybe they did do their job.

Our defense constantly puts our offense in the worst possible positions. How often are we playing from behind before the offense even see's the field?? HOw many game opening drives of 75 yards do we see this defense give up every week?? How many games has the offense come back in, handing the defense a lead and less than three minutes on the clock... only to see the bend over and take it... do just that?


Yes the offense had an uncharacteristic bad game last night... so thats one game out of 14 so far. Making what three games total where the offense had an actual BAD game??

The defense has a BAD game every week, its not a question of if we will get run over.. just by how much. And can the offense score enough points that the defense cant fuck it up in the end.

Carolina had at minimum 5 drives of 60 yards or more which they scored on.

So yea the fact that there is no D in the Redskins is a huge part of why we are sitting at 6 losses and a tie and likely to miss the playoffs. And a damn good part of why we lost last night. When every one on the planet knows Carolina is going to run the ball to eat up clock time, and we give up a 40 yard run.... the Defense did a lousy job.

Seattle is giving up 50 yards and 7.7 points per game less than our defense is. You give this offense a defense that is giving up 6 points less per game and we would be likely 11-3 right now.

We give up 24.5 points per game on Average. The offense needs to score 30 to have a realistic shot at winning.

Seattle... all they need from Wilson is a TD and 3 field goals.

we lost by 11. So even saying the Offense spotted them 10 points... they still gave up two passing TDs

But yep they did an awesome job.
