I hear ya and agree - however Michigan took a long time to announce Harbaugh and he turned it around pretty quick.

The difference there is Michigan is a blue blood. Oregon will need a real miracle worker to turn around half as fast as the wolverines did.

Well Michigan is a blue blood program. There aren't more than 6 or 7 programs that can have a turnaround that quickly because their name alone draws so many nationally that getting any kind of a name opens the flood gates. Only program in the Pac that meets that criteria is USC.

I don't have any idea how the rest of your class is doing in this transition phase. I only know you have lost at least two already and there are others that came on board with the first one that already turned.

The sooner you get a guy, the better the odds they can either get back lost kids or still get others out there that are undecided.

You may be right. USC tried the "re-hiring a former successful coach" when they re-hired John Robinson. While his 2nd stint wasn't necessarily a failure, he was never able to re-create anything close to what he did in his first stint.
