And the team that won the H2H regular season (LSU) was ranked 1 and won SEC championship game. Bama backed into the playoffs after the regular season loss to LSU because the #2 and 3 teams lost in championship weekend.

This year, PSU won the regular season H2H against tOSU and then wont the B1G championship. But PSU is not undefeated like LSU was that year.

I don't think that's 100% correct. I can't remember exactly how things went down, but OKst killed OU to win the Big12 yet Bama got selected over them. That's why everyone was pissed.

You are correct about OK St which is what had everyone pissed that the selection committee would dare push a one loss bama above an unranked team creating the rematch between LSU and Bama ... an all SEC NC game.

I don't remember last years specifics for the B1G. But this year the committee believes tOSU has the best body of work even considering PSU's unlikely run.
