each team plays everyone in their division
each team plays 4 teams from the other division
each team plays 1 out of conference game against a team from one of the other 3 conferences.
ooc matchups are tiered based on previous year's finish so if you are top 4 in your conference you have to face someone from the top 4 of another conference, etc.

Playoffs are 8 teams - tops in each division of each conference face each other in round 1.
If you aren't in a conference, tough beans.
Semi's are the 4 champions.
Seeding is done by ranking.
At the end, Ohio State plays Alabama and wins the championship.

Ok, that last one probably doesn't belong, but you get the idea.

No committees, no ever changing standards. Win and in. Lose and stay home.

I think OSU is one of the top 4 teams in the country. Should they be in the playoff? I don't know, and who would you leave out?

However, the committee going against the president that it used 2 years ago to let the 1st no conference champion in the playoff and leave the team that not only won the B1G, but beat OSU H2H is BS.

Choosing a team that is not a conference champion sets a precedent; choosing a team with two losses would have also set a precedent. Neither had happened before.

Very amused that people act like a team who either didn't play for or didn't win their conference championship got to play in the national championship game. It's not like this is the first time.

It's the first time a team who didn't play for their conference championship got to play in the playoff/championship game instead of the team that did. Try to keep up.
