There is no chance OSU gets in over a conference champ. Don't forget the reason we have the playoffs is because of the BCS screwing up the LSU/Bama championship game.

At the very worst, they should be the 4th seed and face Bama in the 1st round. If they are still #2 that would be a complete fucking joke.

I'm fine with placing them 4th but you can't tell me they're not one of the 4 best teams in the country. You don't beat teams like Oklahoma and Wisconsin in true road games by mistake.

Penn State did earn it. If Ohio State does get in. And is any higher than 4th. That would be a major joke. Especially after the TCU/Baylor/Ohio Staye president

If it isn't:

Bama, Clemson, Penn St., Washington (don't care about seeding) in the final 4 then we might as well go back to the AP picking champions.

Go fuck yourself if you think we need more than 4 playoff spots. This has been exciting for for 12 straight weeks for one reason.

If you're going to say that, then what about Michigan who should have won against OSU in Columbus? If they had won that game, their resume is much better than OSU's right now. OSU struggled in quite a few games and lost to PSU who just won the conference.

This was a microcosm of Penn State's season. Slow start but on fire by the end. No way OSU should be in over their conference champ and head to head conqueror. Penn State's victory over Wisconsin is arguably better than OSU'S. If anything the commitee should bump Clemson if they want OSU in.

I agree getting in over a conference cahampion that beat them on the field. Or a. Inference champion with more wins. Legitimately no

So only conference championships should matter? If that's the case then let's call them automatic bids and expand the playoffs.

I think they are an important piece, but just that, a piece of the resume.
Yes and another piece is head to head. Both of which are lacking from Ohio State. It's just like last year where Ohio State lost to the wrong team.

Arguing for Ohio State to be in over Penn State because of Michigan is like arguing Iowa to be in the playoffs over Michigan State last year because of Nebraska.

How many teams go undefeated if they had to play road games against Penn State, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma and a home game against Michigan? Big deal. They were defeated once. There is not a team in CFB who goes 12-0 with Ohio State schedule

Exactly, you are just grasping at straws at that point.

Lol EVEN the discussion is chaos. There's too many good arguments to be made on either side.

Conclusion: War!

It's looking a lot like "resume" is another word for brand name. The best teams are Alabama,Clemson,Washington and Penn State

Michigan resume is not nearly as good as Ohio State and almost all of their tough games were home games
