Oh really? Like the yankees are in the AL East??

Apples and Oranges kid. The only team who won a WS in the East more recently than the Yankees is Boston. If the Indians win, EVERY TEAM in the Central would have won a WS more frequently than the Tigers lmao

If the Indians win the WS, the tigers will be the laughing stock of the AL Central
Nah. Actually it would show how good the AL central is. Do your remember who won the WS last year?

Cubs are going Lester, Arrieta, Hendricks, Lackey. What I figured. Don't love it but it's ok

You have to pitch Hendricks in Chicago, I just would have rather had Arrieta pitch first. Francona knows Lester better than anybody, whoever makes it to first base and has any speed will probably be on third. The slow guys will be in scoring position. No matter how close Lester and Francona still are, he is going to destroy lester until this guy learns how to throw to the bases. Lester is going to try to be too fine and if the plate umpire is not having any of the just outside stuff, it can be a long night. Dont want the series to start with this tone.

I still can't believe Schwarby would actually be inserted into the line-up.

EDIT: I don't see it happening. Not with Soler, Coghlan, or Szczur having to sit out.

Schwarber has been with the team all year and Coghlan was dumped to Oakland already because of Schwarber. I dont see anyone being afraid of Coghlan in this series, there is fear for Schwarber in Cleveland. I could see Francona intentionally walking him in any situation and make him run the bases.

Downtown Cleveland is gonna be overly crowded tomorrow. Game 1 of the WS @ The Jake (sorry, can't call it Progressive Field) & across the street the Cavs will be hanging their title banner before they tip the season off.

Don't be sorry. Only dickbags and corporate yes men call it Progressive Field.

No one is intentionally walking a guy who hasn't batted all year just because he hit well LAST post season. That's patently ridiculous

I'm really looking forward to the WS. And the odd thing is even if the Indians don't pull off the upset there's no way I could be disappointed. Cubs fans have been waiting way too long for another title.

I agree with that. My only concern is that Cubs fans could become insufferable. It only took a couple years of success for Red Sox fans go from humble, cursed fans to Yankees Lite - all the arrogance, a fraction of the success.

I'm with Jexas. I would be nervous about starting Schwarber if I was a Cubs fan. He hasn't seen major league pitching in a calendar year. Cleveland pitching shut down the Red Sox bats.

I'm happy about getting Lester and then Arrieta at home.

Might regret this one. I'm not saying they're easy games, because they are both great pitchers, but with some luck, maybe the Tribe can get to Lester, and Arietta has struggled a little bit in the Postseason, so there's that.

The fucking anticipation is killing me.
