It might be the single stupidest rule I can think of in modern pro sports.

And all the stupidity of the rule came into play at that moment. From a 2nd 8 at their 3 yd ln. The Skins ended up with a 1st n 10 from their 20 yd ln and would drive for the FG that would make it impossible for the Ravens to tie the game with a FG. They had to go for the win with a TD or lose the game.

I agree with Dave. The Skins have been getting lucky with winning this year. That luck imo is gonna run out.

What I'd like to see though is KC to start playing like he did the last half of the season. Truth be told. I'm OK with the bend, but don't break defense.

i agree about wanting to see cousins perform. Other then the blaming Jones & the run game I do not see him having much of an excuse. The OL has been holding up ... receivers havent been dropping passes like last year .... he just needs to perform.

But the bend but dont break defense makes me laugh because that sounds like Haz philosophy ...

be nice when we get past that and just be a break your neck defense.

Bend but dont break is a vast improvement over the bend over and take it defense we ran the first two weeks of the season....

Hey - you take what you can get. Also - in terms of playing pitiful offenses - the two worst defensive performances came against the Steelers & Cowboys. Except for the Steelers no show against the Eagles both of those offenses have been doing very well against all teams & likely will do so for the rest of the season. They do pay the other team to play.

i think KC will get better once he can defeat the linbackers and safeties dropping off and getting into lanes

one way to do that is to be more accurate deep and hit jax more often so they cant do that
