Could have been played many other places if the plan wasn't attempted to be set in place two days before the contest.
had there been more time I would agree with you but there wasn't enough time.

I ain't lobbying shit.
UF and the SEC created this mess. Let them clean it up.
So there wasn't availability to foresee this somehow could make an impact and adjust the game accordingly like every other team did? There isn't access to this information over a week in advance to make a plan B?had there been more time I would agree with you but there wasn't enough time.
Which is exactly what Foley wanted.Nah, UF didn't "create" it. It was a natural disaster.
At this point we either get our home game OR if Sanky does not show the flexibility and leadership necessary to move the SECCG back a week, then we get a big advantage in the division race. Win/Win.

That was UCF's best availability. Florida had other options, they purposely choose to play stupid and say screw everyone else but Florida."every" other team? ucf postponed their game and they're the closest Division I program. It did not affect the Miami area nearly as much and was well past them by game time. 52 guys on our team are from the area that was marked as the highest risk along Florida's east coast and had family back there.
It amazes me to see how butt-hurt some are and to see all the wild conspiracy theories because a football game got postponed...a football game against an unranked 2 loss team that we play every year.

Reckless and stupid is not doing shit until 2 days before the game. Plans could have/should have been set in place. Stupid is when LSU AD was making calls since Sunday before to make a plan. Instead of not doing a damn thing. What? Best availability? Now you're making excuses. The nearest Division I program....one that was also located in the same general area also chose not to play their home game that weekend as well. Trying to play would have been incredibly reckless, selfish and stupid.

If no other options *shurgs* you don't play. But this could have and should have been played.No. Its a game. It can be played later. If not....*shrug*. So be it. When it comes to anything that could hamper rescue and recovery efforts in the wake of a natural disaster, you don't fuck around playing a game.

He lacks the testicular fortitude to make this happen. Plus you can't wave a wand and make this happen. Georgia Dome is being used the following week, can't magically make them move this event that has been planned well in advance. It can still be played. All it will take is some leadership by Sanky to move the SECC game back by a whole whopping one week.

Based on chatter that I am hearing, they may move the UGA-Florida game up a week and play LSU-Florida on the 29th. Biggest hiccup right now is the Jacksonville Jaguars having a home game that weekend.
