Watching Kelly Oubre last year, I was not impressed at all. Thought he had all the makings of a bust, even being such a young player. But glad to hear he's having a really good training camp and pre-season so far. Porter played well I thought last year, but ideally I think he'll be a guy best served as a 6th man type.

He's very raw. But he's explosive at times. Hopefully he can polish his game a bit this year and we'll see his true potential.

Yeah, Oubre only got 10 minutes a game last Season.

But, that's probably more than he deserved.

He's only 20.

So, I hope he continues to make progress.

I don't expect him to make a McCollum type leap between years.

But, maybe Kent Bazemore?

Definitely reasonable. I admit I didn't see him a ton, but when I did he looked really lost on the court. That's something though that is correctable.

Haven't seen any Nuggets games or read much about them. How is Murray looking so far. I know they were also thinking of experimenting with him a bit at the 1 also. Has he played there at all or is he mostly just on the wings right now?

Obviously being from Indiana I haven't seen many Nuggets games either, but they apparently opened the preseason with a win in Toronto.

I have picked the Nuggets as my sleeper team for the past 2 years and each year they were snake bitten by injury. This year I have refrained. You're welcome.

Yeah, I would hold back as well until they prove something. Lack of veteran talent could hurt in this conference. Last year there were zero expectations, but the two years prior to that I had ranked them higher than they deserved.

I'd take Bazemore. I'm curious to see how many minutes Kelly gets this year. Im assuming itll make a jump and like I said, it's put up time for Otto. The Wiz need to start making decisions on who they're gonna pay here pretty soon.

I know you can't read this post, but it would be saying something if his own team's fans hate him. Doubt it's going to happen, though.

I agree, it would be saying something- but the fact that they don't doesn't change the perception of him to others.

I'm liking the Jokic-Nurkic combo out there. Nurkic seems to have gained some quickness with the weight loss. That may be the way to go for them.
