2 fumbles in the 4th quarter with the game on the line... Both resulted in TD drives from WAS.

Browns gonna Browns

Does this kind of thing happen to any other team? Duke Johnson fumbles the ball. Grabs the ball. Stands up. Redskins are on the ground rooting around for the ball. Duke holds the ball up in the air. Refs award the ball to the Redskins.

The 49ers are pretty much the Browns West at this point, horrible FO...and a roster depleted of talent...injurys are now taking away the few good players we did have. Its gonna be a race for the number 1 pick between our teams and the Bears.

I have no idea how that's not reviewable. He's literally standing up with the ball in hand.

On the bright side, some of the young guys are actually looking good. I'm glad RG3 and McCown are injured because we get a real evaluation of Kessler, who's looked surprisingly pretty good so far. Ogbah looks like he's really rounding into shape and I'm excited about Nassib even though he's been hurt.

The biggest pleasant surprise so far has to be Pryor though. He's been great, and a real steal in free agency.

I don't expect the Browns to compete for much besides the first overall pick this year, but if the young guys continue to improve they might have a decent group by the end of the season and surprise a few teams.

Don't sell Tennessee short. They're equally awful.

Read from CBS sports that Billy Football is back from suspension. Maybe the Brownies could claim him. Couldn't hurt
could it? I mean, can't get deeper than the rock bottom.

Rule change - it was reviewed automatically. The replay officials f-ed up as bad as the actual refs. And of course Dean Blandino (bought and paid for by Jerry Jones (TM)) has backed up the officials.

That is two games that the refs lost for the Browns.

The NFL officiating is an absolute disgrace. But it also has been very clear that the NFL is not interested in getting the officiating to an even halfway decent standard.

Odd. You'd think a Jerry Jones lackey would want the Skins to lose.

And Skid fans say Jerry pays the refs.

Well, Jerry Jones will take his lumps - and the Redskins are bad enough that Blandino doubling down on incompetence will not hurt Jones' interests too much. Has to take the bad with the good on occasion. If Blandino admits too often on the refs f-ing up, Blandino might be forced to resign (which means a net loss for Jerry).

Well the Browns finally got the diamond in the rough they've been looking for. They just picked up Joe Callahan. I expect him to become the starting QB before week 10. His scrambling ability and pocket awareness is better than any QB they've had since I've been watching them all the way back in the 90's. Callahan is basically a Brett Favre without the int's. He sliced up the Browns in the preseason so they know he has the talent. Maybe Browns might win 1 game this year.

Been a good sports year in Cleveland though, NBA title and now a shot at an MLB title...
