Game 1- 9 penalties...Lich false start twice, V. Davis Hold, Trent false start and a hold, Matt Jones false start, Lauvao false start

We were in the red zone 4 times and got 1 TD.

Game 2- 8 penalties...Niles Paul formation, V. Davis false start, Lich false start

We were in the red zone 6 times...6 fucking times. We ended with 2 TDs. This loss was totally on the offense and more specifically KC. You can't throw that pick in the end zone.

At the Giants and home against the Browns. Neither team is known for their rushing ability. I know it is crazy but I think we can win both games. I think eventually we will get out of this offensive funk. If we lose both, it is obviously time to plan on the number one pick. If we beat the Browns and lose to NY, it will be a tough road.

We should be 1-1, and we could be 2-0 if the ball had bounced our way a bit more against PITT. We look sloppy and undisciplined. I have never seen a center false start three times in two games. Our rush defense was better against Dallas and our rush offense was better, but the question remains, why are we not running a little more? Jones actually looked decent today.

A couple individual notes, mostly negative:

KC- He really missed the preseason and looks very indecisive. I expect this to be better against NYG. He has had enough work now to be comfortable. At this point, glad we didn't sign him long term, but I still have faith in him.

LICH- Has to go...NOW. Leribeus was better than this, and he never knew the snap count. 3 false starts in 2 games...NEVER have I seen that.

Trent Murphy- Leading the team in sacks that bum.

Murphy? Murphy? Didn't someone on the forum call for his head and a wasted pic? Must be a different Murphy.

That is how bad this defense is when we are talking about Murphy. I agree with gk in his first post. The loss was on KC. His decision making was terrible. He looked like the rookie QB not Dak.

Good analysis. On NBC they were maintaining that a lot of Cousins issues were due to him pressing since he was trying to look good to get the contract extension. Possibly some truth to that. If so then he needs to relax & just play football. Otherwise - he will never see that extension.

Can't play it off dean ... like I said a month or two ago you had 98534573895673893944 posts about Murphy being a bust and being cut etc. etc. I don't think any of us think he is great but a lot of us were right that he isn't the bum you made him out to be.

The loss was pretty much a done deal before it occurred but how Redskins is it to have a penalty on a QB spike? I had to laugh as I was thinking about all the Redskins fans who wanted to kill Lich at that particular moment.

Say didn't you used to be Preston Smith? Where the Hell has that guy been?

Breeland does play as if he lacks confidence.

I liked how Gruden called out his QB at the start of the 2nd half. Only thing I like about that guy, he calls it as he sees it.

You are forgetting that Galeete got hurt. When I made those posts I assumed he would be healthy.

I am forgetting nothing, you insisted that Murphy was both a bust and a bum.

Funny thing is, you still won't own it. :trash:

And that is why so many people laugh at your proclamations. You say shit and then never own it when you are wrong. Back to the ignore list where you belong. :D

Hmmm. first, he got more than 1 sack. He also had a forced fumble and a couple of tackles for losses. How does that compare to your guy Preston Smith?

Sportster is right, you make these proclamations because of where he was drafted (and really because we didn't draft who you wanted at that position) then backpedal when reality prove you wrong.

Im not wrong. I hope Murphy does have a solid season but the season is not over yet. If he has 8-10 sacks 3 or 4 FF then I would be impressed.

We all know that we don't have a Dline filled with incredible talent so what's critical is that the players we do have actually step up and make plays. Yesterday that's what Trent did.

I'll just leave this here

The season is young and all, and things haven't necessarily settled yet... but one problem with this prediction is that the NYG defense looks to be the best one that Cousins and the 'skins have faced so far.

Drew Brees lit up the Giants last season... but struggled to put up yards and points yesterday.

True but Cousins faces a probable benching if he doesn't bring it Sunday. So I think he would be motivated.

You said that he was a bad pick and would be cut. Now, how Galette being injured saved him since, at that time they were playing different positions, I'm not sure. But my guess is you will have some massive rationalization for it.
