Really mixed vibes on our QB situation from people across the nation.

Sanchez- Many think we may cut him because of the cap savings. I never realized how much money Sanchez saved us by cutting him until I saw the figure. If we do cut him, IMO we need to find a QB with some starting experience to at least have on the roster as the season starts. If things go well he doesn't have to stay there all season, but I have a hard time going into a season with ZERO starting QB experience on the roster.

Siemian- Starting his 2nd game. Kubiak came out in public and said it hasn't meant he won the starting job. Ok, we understand that, but I would say it's now his job to lose this final game.

Paxton Lynch- By far the most talented QB, I don't think we roll the dice on him early, but maybe sooner rather than later if the other two don't step up.

Ya know I was actually thinking about mentioning Kaep being cut as Christian Ponder had a nice go at it with our 3rd string D. ;) But then I thought it's Ponder and one game, but then again we are talking about the 49ers and they haven't exactly made good decisions the past two seasons.

If we cut Sanchez to save on the cap and the draft pick we need to find an experienced backup. Just to have as a safety net. If we cut Sanchez and don't have that experienced QB on the roster that will make me pretty nervous. Someone needs to be there with the two young guys with no experience.

Lynch is the long term but at the present moment, they don't like any of their options if all three are playing equal time in the 3rd preseason game.

I would think they ask Sanchez to take a paycut to remain the #3 if that actually happens.

I've got no issue with Siemian throwing the pick - it happens, and will continue to happen as it does with every QB

I hated how he went into a shell - he was completely thrown off his game, and this is a guy whose forte is supposedly staying even keel and calm .. It spilled over to how the entire team played - everything went flat .

Lynch is the only one of the three that, after throwing a pick, seems like he would want to get right back out there and make up for it - and that fire should not be underestimated as to how it effects the entire team and flow of the game ..
I think this isn't really fair. He came out for one series after the interception. Here are the plays.

So he threw 2 passes after the interception. The first one was an overthrow that he clearly was a little too cautious about, the second hit Latimer in the hands and he either dropped it or it was knocked away (I can't remember at the moment). Regardless, I don't think it's really fair to judge him post interception based on two throws, especially considering those throws came with an injured shoulder.

Your boy Todd Marinovich is sitting around naked in back yards doing drugs. Maybe we can sign him?

Well a guy that had some success with Kubiak before is still on the market in TJ Yates. Wouldn't cost much and should know the system pretty well.

I'm already getting tired of the Lynch mob. its like tebow again. All i can judge is the tape... and by no means am i a scout... but i watch a lot of tape and do have an inkling of technique and what to watch for... and lynch isn't ready. his footwork needs a lot of cleaning. so many flat footed throws. and needs to work on the mental aspect.
