Dude. I'd be watching that game ON OPENING WEEKEND? What don't you understand about that? The same loophole that allowed @7Samurai13 to pick the App State game allows me to pick any other game I want. He wants to know if you could pick any game to watch on opening weekend, what would it be. He never said anything about watching old games from days past or that it had to be a game live on opening weekend or a game from opening weekend.

Neither one of those games were opening week. Samurai found a successful loophole. You two? Not so much
Only if you're not smart enough to figure out that the loophole applies either way. I'll be watching that game ON opening weekend....does that not meet all the required elements from the original question?

I'll admit it didn't even occur to me think whether that was an opening weekend game or not.

Texas vs. Notre Dame

I'm picking Texas in an upset. Weird things often happen in the first game of the season. The game is in Austin, it will hopefully be hot and windy and Notre Dame won't know what to do when they see mosquitoes flying around big enough to fuck a turkey buzzard standing flat footed.

If I couldn't pick LSU, FSU vs Ole Miss and it isn't even remotely close. USC and Bama should be a two score game maybe, FSU and Ole Miss are not favorites and could really help boost their resume come playoff selection time.[/QUOTE]

 FSU could be that team in it at the end, got that feeling there gonna be better then advertised!

@MAIZEandBLUE09 trying to explain himself out of the hole he has dug

There is no hole. My statement meets all the required elements of the question. I'll be watching X game on opening day meets all requirements. It doesn't matter if that game was from a previous opening day or not.

Except you won't be watching that game.

I don't care to watch it, but App State over Tennessee will be an instant classic,

I won't be watching that game, but it was a hypothetical -- which game would you watch if you could watch any of them (which isn't possible).

0klahoma/Houston: scout OU, Houston because it's local (160miles, which is Texas local).

edit: but that Bama/USC game is interesting, 'cause like all of us that are non-Bama fans, want to see if there is ANYONE who can beat them, amirite?

Everyone keeps saying Texas with the upset over ND, and I just don't see it. Not that I wouldn't like to, I just don't think they beat ND. Texas is still another year away at the least (if they give Strong another year).

Mosquitos are especially thick, since we've had 15 inches of rain the past 8 or so days. And it NEVER rains in August.
