Brinson has gone backwards big time this season. As of right now, he wasn't even a consideration for Arlington next season.

That's what I've heard too. Ortiz is the one that will most likely sting.

He was injury prone and I think they had soured on him some, we traded both the pitchers I was ok with losing, but Brinson is the one thats gonna sting, would've been much happier sending Gallo packing since he doesn't show any urgency in compiling a quality ML AB

Given his season and the fact that he's an OF'er with those numbers I have to think someone is going to bit and give him 5 or 6 years unless he completely falls off the last 2 mos of season plus postseason.

Well I do not think we sold our sou. I really liked Ortiz the compensation pick for not signing Nellie even though many regretted that. I like Brinson too. The first great athletic guy that is a natural. BUT.... If somehow we sign Desmond then that is huge. Also we are set up to trade for a frontline pitcher assuming Yu is not extended.

We can't keep them all still there is a sting
