Hasn't been mentioned yet here today, but Edinson Volquez is very much a consideration for the Rangers in a trade. The entire front office is there in KC and, according to a few sources, they are taking a very real look at Volquez. The Royals are sort of on the fence about buying/selling, but Volquez would be an arm they'd definitely be willing to listen on. His ERA was inflated by his 1-inning/11-run disaster against the Astros. Other than that, he's been pretty damn good.

I hate it too. Let Profar swing away and pull the ball and worst case you get the same result as a sac bunt. Best case you get a hit and an RBI without giving up the out.

Certain situations call for the sac bunt. That was not one of them.
