I feel the same... They have been media-pumping this movie for as long as BvS and I don't quite feel like this movie has the same luster. The amount of PR work they have done for this movie seems like they are really trying hard to make it something it probably isn't. Just a gut feeling though. We will have to wait and see.

DC has been shitting-the-bed with their movies since Dark Knight.

Also, a superhero movie following bad guys is a brand new take that i am not sure will actually work (we will see).

I will see it, and I am excited to see it, but my expectations are somewhat reserved.

Robbie isn't on the level of the laughably overrated JL yet.

So he can still be right IMO.

Maybe she will actually be worthy of the praise, unlike Lawrence.

In Hollywood, status has nothing to do with talent in many cases. That said, I think Lawrence is a pretty damn good actress. Ironically, I think Hunger Games is her worst work.

I find her to be pretty meh.

But she is hot. So at least she has that going for her.

MKHawk and I have disagreed on the play since it happened. The difference is that unlike yourself, MKHawk can be respectful when he disagrees, and at least attempt to meet people half way.

In all the years I've been reading your posts, I've yet to see you ever change your opinion on anything, one iota.

The third pic was the only one I found like that with part of their bodies for that comparison.

Saw the commercial twice again yesterday and still thought Jamie first.

As far as being let down, I was never into comics and never knew about them worrying about what if batman or superman went bad and actually forming a group to fight them. First I heard suicide squad I thought of naked tatt chicks.

I, for one, had no idea who Margot Robbie was before I heard she was playing Harley Quinn. I don't know what that means for her current level of stardom, but the more I see the Suicide Squad trailers, the more I think she's gonna be pretty good in this.

I am also completely unfamiliar with the chick playing Wonder Woman. Maybe I just don't go to the movies enough.

Another comic movie dealing with R rated content that will suffer with a predictable PG13 rating to try to maximize revenue. Dead pool shoved a katana blade up Hollywoods PG13 obsessed ass, but this movie was already in production for them to get a clue.

Not to mention the utter confusion of having that many different sub characters in a movie out of the gate, and having to waste at least 1/3 of it explaining their origins and back stories.

It could of been a lot better, but I think in the end, it's simply designed to make a profit, but do nothing to really build the DC movie business.

I didn't think I'd seen Robbie in anything before but I just looked her and forgot she was in that one Will Smith movie where they con the asian guy from Jurassic Park.
