The downside of being a team that is theoretically a piece or two from a championship.

I will take that gamble. There is nothing close to a guarantee that what we get for Gallo nets us a WS title this year. Therefore, I will gamble on Gallo providing us with game winning hits for the next several years.

I like all of this, but if Mitch is in the lineup then he should be at 1B, since he is far and away our best defensive 1B. For me, it's 1B or bench for Mitch. I'd rather have a better hitter and/or an inferior fielder at DH.

That's funny. This weekend Will was saying Profar not playing increased the chances that he would be traded and now you are saying him playing increases his chances. The complete opposite takes from 2 people following the team closely seems humorous to me.

Yeah, with those guys mentioned then Mitch should be 1B and the other two should DH or switch out with other guys. Myself, I would just as soon see Mitch traded at the deadline.

Choo is very irritating. Always something to keep him on the bench. Sore or stiff back is weak to me. Serious injuries are one thing but my guess is all of us have had or do have back aches and work daily. Get his ass to work JD. Just RANTING

Sort of tongue in cheek but SS in theory is where Profars highest value is and getting an Elvis a rest before a potential trade and callup of Alberto. Just a thought. To me all this prospect talk is distasteful while the Banny a Prince bandwagon rolls on. Even if he hits for a average how doe he hit so high in the lineup. Too much coddling IMO

If Choo does have a sore back. Then when he is ready to play, let them sit Prince and DH Choo.

Agree I was thinking how to save Profar and get Gallo up. Either Mitch or Joey play or DH.

Saw KC picked up Tepesch. Also the Astros will miss Hill because of his blister which is a bummer since he kicked their rears the last time he pitched against them.

Yeah, that's true, even struggling as he has, he is better Hoying. Actually would've been nice to get Hamilton back around now for this. Pretty sure Mazara just needs to needs to get his confidence back.
