Nadel was mentioning it. Beat writers were tweeting about it. I just don't think players care much about such stuff as long as it isn't happening in the dugout.

I know they don't care what folks say on boards like this one and still if someone would have mentioned those words on here they would have been lambasted by some others I would think.

Superstitions baffle me anyway though.

At least we've actually been to the World Series and won some World Series games. I'm no baseball historian, but I think the Mariners have never been to the World Series and the Astros have never won a WS game.

Haha. I brought it up an hour ago and Murph brought it up at the beginning of the game I found out. The more popular this board becomes the harder it is to keep up with all of the posts.

Honestly, I thought about mentioning it myself, but thought the better of it for exactly the reason you said.

I mean seriously. How much effect can a poster have on something from thousands of miles away, and posting in somewhat of a vacuum to begin with?

Yeah, that is why superstitions baffle me. Things like that make no sense. I can see not mentioning it to Colby so it doesn't mess with his head, but other than that 3 million people could mention it and it would have zero effect on Colby.
