Choo (hamstring) completed his rehab assignment Saturday, but may not be active for Monday's matchup in Oakland, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Choo played all nine innings both Friday and Saturday night for Triple-A Round Rock, so it appears that physically, the outfielder is ready to return. There are several circumstantial issues that may result in a slight delay, however. First, the Rangers will be facing lefty Sean Manaea, who would pose a matchup issue for Choo. Furthermore, it's possible Yu Darvish (shoulder) and Adrian Beltre (hamstring) may require stints on the DL, so the Rangers could wait for more information on either player, as it would potentially relate to a corresponding roster move. Regardless of how the exact situation plays out, Choo should begin seeing regular reps in right field in the near future for Texas.

Seems that was the idea with Barnette. God he sucks.

I mean, if they're in the pen they need to be used, especially in a 5-run game. No sense in having a 8 man bullpen if 3 of them aren't trusted.

Com'on now....Tolley has sucked, as had Willie.

Barnette hasn't been great, but he's got a decent ERA and several of the hits/runs he's given up recently have been lightly hit. So IMO he doesn't suck.

CBS showed De Fratus in the pen, but I don't buy that. Not that he was an option today anyway

We took 2 of 3 on the road against the 2nd place team in our division. Nothing wrong with that at all. Now let's go to Oakland and at the very least get a split against those pesky As.

TAG actually made a great call on throw by Mazara. Unbridled enthusiasm. Hair let down. What little is left
