Heath started the first 8 games. And then was replaced by Frerotte since Heath stunk.

or Kubiak falls in love with Lynch during the season like Shanny did with Cutler in 2006
Plummer 7-4 to start the season, Cutler 2-3 down the stretch and throws a pick 6 in the last game of the year , loses in OT, and misses the playoffs
Yep. Just keep dissing Simian. Going to go right from Sanchez to Lynch without even considering Trevor. There's like 2 guys on here besides myself that at least gives the guy a shot and heard a lot more praise from Kubiak and teammates regarding him than Lynch. Funny.![]()
Man Debbie downer today. Who knows. A lot could happen this upcoming season with the QB position. My hope above all hope is that Sanchez does hold the position all year. Most likely that means we are winning and in the running for another Super Bowl. Also gives our rookie a full year to sit and learn the system while also working on his footwork and understanding of defensive schemes. I think that would be our best for the short term and long term of the team.
You rest your case? So me saying the better QB play we get the better our chances and that proves your point? That to me is a "No Duh" kind of statement. Of course better QB play increases any teams chances. What I am saying is that teams have won the Super Bowl with below average talent at the QB position. Heck we did it last year. The Ravens and Bucs of the early 2000's. Heck the Giants with Eli Manning playing below average won the Super Bowl. There are many different ways to accomplish winning the Super Bowl. The QB is not the end all be all is all I am saying.
Why would you expect a "vanilla" offense? If Lynch beats out Sanchez, it will also be because he is able to tackle the bulk of the plays Kubiak wants to run. It doesn't take two years just to learn it. Flacco didn't take that long to excel in it.
And he has never taken a snap from under centerAlso people keep talking as though Lynch has never played west Coast O ???? He played west Coast his F year of college frick man get with the program !!!!
You might want to check out this goal line play.....,And he has never taken a snap from under center
That is the biggest change for him to work on.
That may be, but the concept of playing under center isn't completely foreign to him either. Instead of training him to do something he's never done, Kubiak will simply be shaking out the cobwebs.Let me rephrase ... never say never
Lynch has primarily been in the shotgun during his time at memphis
I'm was just presenting a third alternative to your scenario that has played out here in Denver. Then Geo asked if a 7th rounder ever beat out a 1st rounder and I once again pointed out a real life example. Everything here is pure speculation at this point not having seen Lynch. I remember Cutler flashing his big arm early in the 2006 preseason (Detroit and Arizona) , I suspect if Lynch flashes early , it's not out of the relm of possibility to see the new toy be put into action sooner rather than later. The term being thrown around is "mircowave" his development. Now every 1st round QB will flash in QTAs that is why they were drafted in the 1st pure athletic talent. Can he handle the mental side where most QBs fail.
Yes. It's the time of year for the team to beef up trade values on players through their minions.Trevor Siemian the intriguing “Other Guy” in Denver Broncos’ QB derby
Nice story Siemian - from @SpringStein's fav reporter.
Then jettison Sanchez and his $4.5 mm contract to pay Miller if Sanchez can't beat out a 7th rounder.
