I certainly wouldn't being laughing at the possibility when you look at the other options.....a rookie who by most counts and common sense, needs time and then a vet that has shown he can make some very bad decisions on a regular basis. To laugh at Simiean having as good a shot as the other two to end up the starter, is kind of premature at this point anyway. Let's wait till preseason and the noise being tossed around before speculating. Got a long time too go gents.:)

Randy, Mingo likes to be challenged. Don't take that away from the old timer so easily

Now seriously, I'm afraid they won't give the kid a fair shake. They'll be pressured to give Lynch every available snap to get him up to speed, and Sanchez is our stop gap. I actually like Siemian but he's the third

From the looks of things so far, Lynch is doing his best to throw all that common sense out the window....

Quite the conundrum. I wouldn't mind seeing Siemian get a shot, but I've already declared Paxton Lynch a future hall-of-famer. Of course they could bypass Sanchez and let Trev start while Pax develops, but I doubt they'd do that. Might as well stick with the known, mediocre commodity rather than the unknown.

I never said he was guaranteed to start day one. Just mentioned he appeared so far to be working hard and impressing the coaches. However, unlike some of the talking heads, I'm not completely discounting the possibility either. I heard some of the same talk about how Russell Wilson needed time too.

And one more point to ponder: Aristotle once used common sense to "prove" that the Earth was at the center of the Solar System :thumb:

This is because every time Aristotle got serious about having kids - Socrates would beat him with a shovel - speaking of common sense. ;)

One daughter named Pythias.

The thought was that for the Sun to be at the center, and still produce the effect of rising in the East and setting in the West, the Earth would have to spin so fast that everything would fly off the surface (kinda like what happens if someone spins you on a merry-go-round too fast).

To be fair, Issac Newton wasn't around to set the record straight, yet.

Which is why I ignore most of what is claimed to be "common sense". After all, it's only as robust as the person who wields it.

Common sense has a shot at getting it correct - "prevailing opinions", however, are almost always incorrect.

If all people had a good degree of common sense there wouldn't be so many idiots. It's vastly underrated. Look how many people think Trump would make a good President and reality shows are real. ;)

I will give Kubiak credit This kid can play Football as he said after the Draft last year ..Good luck Seaman.. He was well worth what we paid for him draft wise .
See if he won the SB we can parlay that into a couple Draft picks .. and if he turns into Joe Montana well we keep him and call the Cowpies and ask him how much is he willing to over pay
