Wow that would be interesting. I loved watching Taylor play this past season and I do think he is a perfect fit for the Broncos and what they want to do offensively. I do think a move like this changes the outlook of the Broncos for this upcoming season from many thinking they are going to have a huge fall off to possibly once again pushing for a nice Super Bowl Run. I'm wondering if the player to be named would be Shaq as the Browns really wanted him this past season. I do think the Browns would be getting ripped off big time in this deal as that is less than what the Redskins gave up to move up for RGIII and that was just moving from 6 to 2.

I love Tyrod don't get me wrong, but giving up a first for a guy with just 1 year left on his deal? just doesn't make sense to me. Give up a 3rd and a conditional and I am on that, but not 31

I guess to me I am ok with it. Tyrod showed when healthy last year he can be a top-10 QB in this league. Throw in his relationship already with Kubiak and knowing the system and his fit physically and I just like this move. I do agree him only having 1 year left on his deal makes this a difficult gamble especially with us signing Miller at some point to a big contract and Tyrod wanting one either this year or next. Now if we were to pay him what Osweiler just got I would be all over that as I would rather pay Tyrod $18 million than that of Os.
I would honestly be torn on this. The money that would have to be paid does not sound good. At the same time Taylor is only 26 so good chance we could get 8 years out of him or so of good to great production. I would love to know we are set at QB for a long time. Been since Elway that we have had such comfort.

If we give up 31 for Tyrod ill be steaming.

I have noticed the Bills brought in Dak and Connor Cook for a visit. They have some QB they like in this draft.

Extremely interesting deal - unknown who the player is, but a pass rusher is a good guess or a corner back (Siemian?).

Tyrod Taylor is exceptional outside the pocket -and maybe one of the best of all time outside the pocket. Kubiak has some work cut out for him with Taylor in the pocket - if the Bronco run game goes - that helps. He has a plus arm - seems pretty smart.

If Kubiak wants to work with him - I'd do this deal. In the case of Taylor - it is conceivable the Broncos can have him ready to take the team to the playoffs -where I don't think a rookie can be expected to do that.

Also - the Broncos will have to have a contract extension in hand or agreed to prior to the deal as well to make it work in my mind.

The Broncos will still have 9 picks this year - to use to move up and cherry pick guys they like in day 2 or day 3.

I`m a little curious and maybe a tad suspect on the Bills looking to trade Taylor. From what I`ve seen Taylor made nice strides last year and Rex couldn`t praise the kid enough and I agree he looked like he`s made nice strides in last two years. Just makes me wonder if maybe there isnt some other concerns with him that aren`t apparent or disclosed. IDK, does`nt seem on par with what the coaches were saying and his nice improvement last yr that all of a sudden their willing to trade him. He looked like he was getting real comfortable in that system and everyone in Buffalo was excited about his future and now he`s being discussed as trade bait. I guess I`m just a suspicious guy.

Wait we have to give up 31 and a player? Like Hall and Oates once said, "I can't go for that"

And for the record, I love Tyrod. I think he will be a monster if he can learn to not take the big hits. But his contract and injuries have me second guessing that trade.

All your points make perfect sense, but you are forgetting who this involves...the Bills. Common sense is a non-factor with this organization.

They find new and creative ways to make a mockery of the draft every few years. Looks like ol' Buffalo is cooking up another one.

I would be surprised to find out the Broncos did this deal and didn't have a backroom deal with Taylor to play the next two years at $7 million - Elway's announced budget for quarterbacking with Sanchez and Siemian already signed up. So Taylor comes to a contender - goes from $3 million to $7 million for the next two years -and all he has to do is add one year to his contract. His agent must have said to himself - if the Broncos will do that for Kaep - why not for my client? No guarantee as to who starts - 3 QB free for all -have at it.

This would give the Broncos a game manager in Sanchez - and a game changer in Taylor -and a guy named Siemian who has already spent a year in the system - after beating out a QB the Broncos wanted to protect enough they carried him on the 53 man roster for fear of losing him.

This would be a big challenge to Kubiak to sort out these QBs.

The Bills get a lot in return is the only thing I can think of, but not often you see a team trade away a young QB like this if he is "really that good" I am just not sold on him, but I can think of far worse trades. Almost feels like a randon fan rumor and post. Nobody else is reporting it, if it wasn't for the Bills bringing in Dak Prescott and Connor Cook I'd guess no truth to it, but after reading that. I wonder a bit.

There is no way this report is based on anything but nonsense

Elway is not giving up a first round pick for Tyrod Taylor

"Please don't eat cheese from overturned truck on highway 11"

That's their article before the one about the trade, I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say it's fake.
