Did anyone else think when Negan said he couldn't choose and said, "Wait, I know how I'll decide" or whatever, that he was going to make Rick choose?
I did, I did.

Is that for a GTO??
Darryl and Rosita were asked to come along with Denise to get Medicine for Alexandria. But it's stupid why Darryl decided to walk the train tracks on the way back which caused Denise to get shot by Dwight.I'd like to revisit my take on Denise's death a few weeks ago:
Had Denise not gone out looking for one soda, the group's trip to take Maggie to Hilltop would have been unnecessary.
I just think it has to be Aaron, if Negan does not know any of these people, killing abraham would kill the biggest, Rick would kill the leader, and the way Rick told Aaron to stay to defend Alexandria, just seems like something Rick will say when they get back and all his people return but an alexandrian does not. Negan needs to leave them strong enough to gather him more stuff, so killing the strong ones makes little sense.
Aaron is a big enough guy, to make enough of a point.
I also think that maybe the writers are using the time off to possibly make up their minds as who it is, but I agree with its not a woman for sure, you dont bash in a womans head with a barb wire bat.

Back before the zombie apocalypse, Negan lured Carl into his non-descript econoline with promises of free candy.
I stand behind the fact that the cliffhanger was totally foreseeable by short-sighted studio execs.
However, all that build up without the payoff leaves me feeling kinda empty. As BD has said numerous times, why break up the most dramatic moment of the series with a 7 month break? That just doesn't make sense.
And I just don't get that we went through this entire season without losing a single major character. We only lost 2 named characters, actually. Deanna and Denise. That's it. Good season, but how is that possible?
Yeh, I remembered her family after the post. There was also Nicholas.I've got a few pages of reading to do so this may have already been pointed out but Jessie, Sam, and Ron died. Jessie was only on the show about a season but she was built up to be a pretty major character seeing as how she was the main character's love interest at the time.
While Glenn is my choice as well, he has been marginalized over the last few seasons to the point where his death would not cause the same kind of shock as it once would have.Daryl, Glen, Michonne and Rosita were barely in the episode it kinda seems like they really made it a point to make you think it's Abe, Eugene or Aaron. With all 3 kinda stepping into bigger roles.
And personally I think all 3 options kinda suck.
Abe is a badass but he's still not iconic and he basically is down with it. Eugene just wouldn't have an impact at all, and Aaron would legit be the worst writing decision in television history.
So I think it's gonna suck ass waiting 6 months and getting another BS death.
Unless of course they man up and prove "no one is safe" and stop just saying it. Kill Glenn.
As i already said, you don't take out a proven leader of a group you now want to work for you. It's a new world order and leaders that can keep their people alive and productive are coveted. If you are running the strongest army out there, do you keep the leaders and threats of the second strongest army alive after you publically kill one of their closest friends in the manner Negan just killed somebody? Or do you beat them down and slowly take the fight out of them?

Besides, as bad ass as his army already is Rick took out at least one full outpost and another full group of his men. You tear Rick down and make him take their place and send them out on bitch duties.
Abraham is another story, but if I'm Negan there's no way I take Rick out. I want his people to see him pissing his pants and becoming my bitch. I sure don't want to have to install leadership in their ranks afterward.
So far most of the encounters we have seen with the saviors has been around them punishing people who have tried to leave or otherwise not done what was asked of them. They aren't in the business of holding groups hands. They know how to deal with groups that can't follow the simple rules.

And to have a huge cliffhanger, only to deliver him???
Just another reason why this should not have been a cliffhanger.

That's great. Larry, Darryl and Darryl should have told the chubby bitch to sit tight while they went out and grabbed the meds. Period.
Didnt matter. They grabbed everything. But he didn't know what to get
