From the sound of it the Broncos knew a while ago they were not going to get Osweiler. They had to show they were trying of course but he had one foot out the door a while ago. So I think Elway has had a plan from day 1 of the off season of what he wanted to do. How about we not completely panic quite yet until we see the fullness of the plan. We are still what only a little more than 2 weeks into FA, the draft is still a month away, and trades are all still on the table. Still plenty of time to get this all figured out.

Josh McCown probably wouldn't be bad on our team though. He has experience, a decent arm and makes good reads. Don't need him to be a hero. The hero can learn beneath McCown or Sanchez.

Saw he was in Chicago for a visit recently. Really hope he comes back and decides Denver is the place for him. He is that one dynamic guy on Special Teams and offers good depth in the secondary.

Saw he was in Chicago for a visit recently. Really hope he comes back and decides Denver is the place for him. He is that one dynamic guy on Special Teams and offers good depth in the secondary.

He is doing what Norwood did. Will take a few visits, come back with his offers and then Denver will basically match or decline his highest offer.

Norwood visited the Jets and Lions.

I'm surprised Vasquez hasn't gotten any bites so far. Still a young player that has shown great play when healthy. Either he is more banged up than what we the public know or teams saw his play this past year and decided he just isn't worth it.

Right now I can see Daniels and Smith coming back this next year on 1-year deals.

Vasquez met with the Titans. Sounded like he was close on a deal, but may be holding out a bit to see if anyone else offers.

My guess is Antonio Smith retires. Pure guess due to age, what is left in the tank and coming off a SB and his father passing.

I missed the Vasquez and Titans talk. For some reason hadn't heard that he was close to a deal. Good for him and I think they could really use him. I could see both Smith and Daniels retiring or I could see the Broncos wanting that veteran presence in the locker room with Manning gone. They wouldn't cost hardly anything to bring back but that also might push them to retire not wanting to put their bodies through another season for so little money.

Still lots of options of guys to add to the roster.

Other than the Jets - which I do not see happening - I cannot see where Kap would go, other than the Broncos ... Plus, whether it be the predraft interview Elway had with him, or the praise in the media over the years, Kaepernick has seemed destined to become a Bronco ..

I hope it happens, but I can't see the point of the Sanchez signing then
