I'm actually happy to see this happening. Seems like the 49ers have dug their heels in on what they want for Kaepernick and as we all know Elway moves on very quickly when somebody does that. If Kaepernick doesn't get signed this week I could easily see RG3 being the guy we bring in next. The nice thing is he doesn't count against us Comp Pick wise because he was cut and he won't cost us anything in a trade. So we would still get that nice 3rd round comp pick next year for Osweiler and Malik plus a QB at a nice price to compete with a few other guys.

I'm glad I've gotten a chance to get used to the idea of Sanchez as a Broncos QB - because if someone foisted Sanchez and RGIII on me on the same day - I'd have to turn myself inside out.

What is the hurry 49ers will have to cut him coming up rather short period of time like the 4th of next month .. Or then they will have to keep him My guess the price will be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper .. there is no hurry until after that date ..

I am fine with drafting one too. I like how Elway is playing the Kaepernick situation. No reason to outbid yourself and let's just see how much the 49ers actually do want to keep Kaepernick.

Right now while I do think Kaepernick maybe has a higher ceiling I really don't see much difference between RG3 and Kaepernick. If we get Kaepernick for a low round pick then great but otherwise not worth it. Plus I do think RG3 will be cheaper. If nothing else the Broncos can get RG3, have Sanchez, have Siemian, and then use a draft pick in the 1st 3 rounds of the draft and have a 4-way competition. As Kubiak said today "may the best man win."

Talks with Garrett Graham must not be going well.

I think Owen should call it a career. Not that he can't still play but he can, but I just think it's a good way for him to go out and is a declining player, plus he had a great AFC championship game to go out on prior to the SB.

I like the goodbye Owen gave to Denver, that alone would make me want him back... He would be a nice reserve TE. I just feel if I was him why not go out now?

Why wouldn't they? It will mean that he is willing to play for less - obviously. He is certainly one of about a half dozen guys who really helped the Broncos win the all the way through the Super Bowl.
