We may not always have the same opinions about the tigers... But we at least are participating in a discussion because we are fans of the same team. Iffy's intentions here have nothing to do with being a tigers fan and if that isn't clear to everyone here I don't know what to say.

If I wasn't responding he will just find a different Tigers fan to focus in on by posting his baiting make believe stat bull shit posts until someone else is roped into his shit. This was a daily thing for years on cbs. Anyone that used to participate on cbs gamecenters should know well iffy's game and who he is.

I can 100% guarantee that I have Vice by the short hairs.

Sanchez scheduled to pitch on Wednesday. We shall see. With no further problems, Sanchez could still be ready by the start of the season.

Good news for fan(s) of ex-Tiger Hernan Perez. He is hitting .294 and has put himself back into the discussion for a reserve role for the Brewers.

Keep an eye on Mike Fiers of Houston. He has no options left and Astros have a deep pitching staff.....

Excellent 4 innings from Verlander. It would be great to see him make it all the way back to the pitcher that was once considered a lock for the HOF. I'd settle for something just a little bit less however.

I think the Tigers can get a one way flight to Mexico, for Rondon, for less than $200.

So long as they don't count his ERA as a carry on. Those weight fees could be a bitch.

My feeling, and I said it last year, is that a healthy Verlander will be in the All-Star game a couple more times before he's done as a Tiger. But I don't seen Cy Young/MVP caliber seasons anymore.

Cy young is probably a pipe dream... But i wouldn't be surprised to see a few more sub 3 era seasons. Verlander most certainly can be a top five pitcher in the al for 2-3 more seasons.

Holaday is just completely mashing the ball right now.. I don't know how they can just send him off without getting something for him... He had to have gotten some of the good roids this offseason from peyton manning.

Boyd looked really good today. JD got robbed on a HR. Place was sold out. Over 7500 people there today... That is damn near what the Indian's get on a regular season game lol.

Verlander, Zimmermann, Greene, Boyd, Pelfry. That is my guess at opening day rotation. Norris at Toledo, Sanchez in Lakeland (cashing large paychecks) and Buck Farmer in church thanking some diety that someone is actually paying him to throw a baseball. Fulmer? I guess he will be in Toledo watching coaches scratch their heads (and butts) trying to decide what to do with him.

Vice....you must kick yourself for not coming up with this idea two years ago. Picking the Indians for first in 2016 and then spending all your time degrading them! Brilliant. If you had only done that with the Royals in 2014 and 2015....you wouldn't have made such a fool of yourself. tsk

We will have to see where it all takes us ... it's been my experience that you can't tell a damn thing from spring training. Hopefully we are mopping up on someone in November.

Farmer has a 3.00 era so far this spring... and is averaging a strike out per inning. Do you even pay attention to the Tigers?

Pitchers use spring training as a time to work on pitches... they aren't throwing the same pitches they will in the regular season. Its one of the reason there are so many HR.

Most likely the Tigers will have

Verlander
Zimmermann
Norris
Pelfrey
Sanchez

They don't need a 5th starter for the first 7 or so games so they can just let sanchez take his time and round into form. Sanchez is getting a spring start Monday.

Tigers outrighted Montreal Robertson off the 40 man and have an open spot now... Look for them to add Parnell.

My guess is the bullpen is
Rodriguez
Lowe
J Wilson
Parnell
Verhagen
Hardy
Ryan

With Alex Wilson starting the season on the DL

Boyd, Greene, and Farmer will join Fulmer in AAA's rotation.

Thanks for the education on baseball ... believe it or not, I kinda know a thing or two about the game. You don't see me negatively criticize many (if any) ball players. I know how good the worst ones are and how bad I was.

Not sure what your point is.. I was making a comment about your remark regarding not being able to tell much from spring training.. which is true because most players use it as a time to work on things that need polish... only players that are on the fringe of the 25 man roster are really competing with their best stuff... I am sure you know plenty about baseball.... Nobody ever said you didn't.
