So when Aaron said "If it wasn't us, it was gonnna be you.", he had to be referring to the Wolves attack, right? Assuming that's correct (I can't imagine what else it could mean), how did he know this? Did we see something in last season's finale to suggest this?

Oh chf, chf.... You forget who is who dear chf...

I was not one of the arguing freaks of vangate. I never cared if it landed on its front, back, top or wheels... You have me confused with others.

But tell me you understand the difference between suspension of belief that, okay, there are zombies.... As opposed to, "Rick can plan and take over an entire compound, but can't avoid a mud puddle.

I already said it isn't a big deal, but really... What was the point of that? Cmon TV boy, what was that? Filler? We'll just have the camper get stuck in the mud because.... well... shit. I don't know really, but wouldn't it be funny?

Cmon chf, you b reachin' for reasons to roll your eyes these days.

Usually they drop something like that as foreshawdowing. I guess we'll see. You tend to not want to give the show runners much rope. Which is cool n' all, but the AAARGH about something that inconsequential is pretty funny. (van-gate is much more egregious)

:)

Nah he was just saying if it was gonna be them to get killed it was gonna be the saviors.

Basically saying they acted before the Saviors would have a chance to do this to them.

So much "win" in this episode...

1) Carol's scorecard

2) Carbin (I am not a shipper, but I approve of this one)

3) Rick calling out Morgan at the town-hall meeting "You don't have to kill, but if you are going to stay, you have to accept it."

4) Morgan building the cell (I LOVE this one)

5) The Glenn/Heath kill scene - I really didn't expect then to give Glenn a kill, let alone the 7 or so he got this ep.

6) Lucile-pr0n

7) I think Heath will meet Dwight and Tara will become Holly.

So I guess my "Morgan the Warden" theory might come to fruition.

@Chef99 I thought you'd be pissed man, Abraham made your little beef taco Rosita cry.

Good call on Gabriel. While I am not sure I am a huge fan of his becoming packing Padre, I like that they are actually doing something with him.

As for #7...

Dwight will kill Heath instead of Abe and this will cause Tara to be captured and become a walker-grenade.

Could happen forsure. Honestly my guess going forward for Tara is I think she's gonna get killed by Dwight as he makes he return with Daryl bow. I've said I'll be shocked if she lives the season and I feel she could end up being the next death as he enters the picture. Just a guess, but after seeing Daryl bike tonight I like the odds of the bow coming back into play.

Heath is tough for me to speculate on his role because of his whole 24 commitment. They technically finished this season filming before he was cast in that though. So I really don't have any guess where his story goes to close this season. I'm hoping he sticks around.

I don't know what's worse; Abe being a dick to my little avocado Rosita or Eugene tryin' to move in on the action! :pound:

Oh yea...

"Why are dingleberrys brown?"

That actually cracked me up. I rank that right alongside "Coorrral" for a good laugh. :thumb::thumb:

Hey, wouldn't it be something if they REALLY threw us a curve and Abe doesn't get knocked off?

Is it just me ... (Ill ask @mattola here as well instead of posting in 2 threads)
or is Morgan gonna meet Lucille instead of Glenn? ... he gets the cell built quickly ... then he wants to "talk" in the "meet Negan" episode ... he has a word with Lucille :noidea:

Eh, I don't think I'm usually that bad. I think it is the fact that the whole scene IS inconsequential is what makes it so... Pointless? Never mind all the swiss cheese holes that get us there.

No matter...

I don't know if he was trying to make a move, he just happened to be there and heard everything that happened and felt awkward so he started talking about cookies.

As far as nitpicking the Walking Dead, it's the 6th season, I've come to expect the Walking Dead's flaws. Even in episodes that have as much action as this one, there is dumb stuff such as the fat lesbian "I love you" scene. Who the fuck cares? Then she has the nerve to confess to the reverend about it during a battle? I've come to expect the stupid little moments of melodrama that the writers try to make seem significant as well as the unbelievable events. You guys should realize by now that the show is more about entertainment rather than plot, but I'm okay with that because I accept the show for what it is and my expectations aren't too high. This show is really popular but I wouldn't call it the best show on television, it's just a fun way to kill an hour or so of time.

Maggie goes because she needs to see Glenn die to further her character-development thereafter.

And we'll have to wait and see if they dropped in on purpose to use it later (foreshadowing).

Breaking Bad did this all the time, little throwaway scenes that didn't make much if any sense at the time you first see them, that came back to mean something later (sometimes MUCH later, ie - several episodes later)

Again, you never want to give the show much rope.

I want to give it more rope than you do.

It's all good.

It's been a show about character development from episode 1, season 1.
