Plus he has struggled as a pocket passer. Accuracy, reads and presence. When teams forced him to throw from the pocket he had problems. He definitely is more athletic than Oz and most other NFL qbs. So is Tebow.

Yes and no. Look at Cam. He did most of his damage with his legs from the pocket not rolling out. Right up the gut. Cam was pretty accurate this year from pocket when he had time. SB was different story. Russell Wilson is not a good comparison to Kap because he has proven he can beat you both ways. Kap has not. You can compare Kap to RG3 all day long though. That works.I think the whole pocket passer thing is a bit overrated. Hear me out on this. We are moving to an NFL where athleticism in the QB position is becoming more prevalent. Teams are figuring out how to move these guys out of the pocket and let them make plays. Look at Seattle with Wilson in he spends a great deal of time outside the pocket. When you throw in the zone running stretch plays force teams to have to move sideways making it hard to keep a guy in the pocket.
One of the things most predictive of Osweiler's eventual success is that the players love him - which invest them in his success.
I had not heard that story on Latimer, but Manning pretty much treated him as invisible on the field. Maybe he didn't think Latimer treated the game with enough respect. Latimer does play hard -and he does the dirty work on special teams and blocks as a WR.
I like the extra value we got from Manning the talent scout. Could this young Taylor be Denver's next star player?
For this upcoming draft, I don't like the idea of drafting a WR anywhere near the first 4 or 5 rounds as I think the Bronco have a lot of untapped talent there in Fowler, Latimer and Jordan Taylor ... I'd also love to see Norwood return ( to the team and punts![]()
Correct me if im wrong but I am fairly certain a lot of us were loving what we saw of Taylor during the preseason as wellI like the extra value we got from Manning the talent scout. Could this young Taylor be Denver's next star player?

very true. Either way should be a fun name to keep an eye on this yearI would say it was more training camp than the actual games. It seemed like everyday the reports that would come out had this kid making some kind of crazy catch. When I went to training camp he had probably one of his worst days with a couple of drops but he still managed to make a couple of circus catches. He has incredible body control for a guy of his size and is one of those guys that fights for the ball. I would love to see him make the roster this next year and be that red zone threat that we have been missing since Julius Thomas left town.
