It is a lot better. The kid would have to wait a total of 6 months to enroll on full scholarship is the actual difference. As he is a 3 star LB, he wasn't going to be playing anyway.

And he didn't even actually pull the scholarship, he only mentioned greyshirting could be possible IF we were to get all the recruits we want(unlikely)

Meanwhile the kid Harbaugh actually pulled the scholarship for could only join the team as a walk on without a scholarship at all.

Yup. Your glasses don't give Saban and Alabama a rosy glow at all. Just admit that Saban doesn't "walk on water" for once.

What you don't seem to grasp is - I AM IN FAVOR OF THIS and always have been.

lol... of the 8 titles ohio state claims.. i am pretty sure your ass wasn't on this planet for 6 of them either.
I vividly remember 2 of them, and I'm only 31. michigan fans have 0.5 national championships for nearly the last 70 years. Ohio State has 7 in that time. The only reason michigan is so storied is because of the titles they won back when football looked nothing like it does now. They're essentially college football's rough draft. Nothing more than a relic of glory from several generations ago.

Speaking of national championships.

Why is it everyone makes a big deal for Alabama to only claim 11 national championships(a difference of 5), but I never hear anyone complaining about Michigan, who using the same method for the Alabama 11 would give them a total of 2, a difference of 7.

Why is it ok for Michigan to claim all those early national championships but not Alabama?

you do realize that the AP National Championship is THE national championship right... and Michigan won that in 1997... they finished second to Nebraska in the coaches poll... because their coach was retiring. The coaches poll is a secondary poll.

unless you are an alabama fan... you are living in the past as well clown. ohio state isn't the national champion right now... and after losing as much from their team as they did this year... are not going to be next year either.

Several players from our championship team, along with many coaches, still remain. The players and coaches from michigan's last full on national championship are dead. Completely different situations, bud, but keep on dwelling on those leather helmet days :pound:

Oh he was bringing up the Kansas City Royals as a way to rip on the Indians earlier. This guy has been flailing and reeling pretty much all day.
