I don't consider 30 year old, old. Plus he wont get top dollar. He is a great talent and would be huge for our oline.

I predict he will be one of the highest paid centers with his new contract, where ever he lands.

so he is going to make 8 mil per season annually wherever he lands in FA. Ok we will see. I will hold you to it.

And that will put him in the top 5. So hold me to it. In fact, I bet he earns more than $8M in 2016.

And if he does, will you admit you have no right to talk about Leonard Williams ever again because you don't know what you are talking about?

What does Mack's contract have to do with Williams? I do know what I am talking about. You guys are just homers and just agree whatever SM does. How do you deny the fact that the DE problem would have been solved if we took Williams?

I am simply referring to you thinking you know everything and everybody else knows nothing. You are 100% sure that Mack won't get paid. You are 100% sure that Leonard Williams is God even though his performance showed he is just Joe.

I don't agree with everything anybody does and you know that. I have preached no 30 year old FAs since ESPN...we might finally have a GM that is smart enough to realize what I know.

We didn't have a DE problem this last season but if we didn't take Scherff, we would have had an OL problem which could have caused a QB problem, which would have caused a coaching problem.

I never said that everyone else knows nothing. I love debating with you guys. Im from RI and I cant talk Redskins football here. I thought we had a DE problem this year and for the future. I knew Hatcher was on his last leg and is way overpaid. It turned out to be true. The o line problem would have been minimalized this year b/c of the play of Moses.

We all know Hatcher is on his last leg. If they had gone by my way, he would have never been contemplated. OL would have been a problem without Scherff. If you think Moses would have been the same player without Scherff, you are kidding yourself. If you think KC would have been the same QB, you are also kidding yourself.

KC had no running game and no center. KC had to deal with Ribeye for most of the year. And look at what KC did this year. Simply amazing. Kojo could of filled in at RG this year. RG is an easier position than RT b/c you don't have to deal with speed pass rushers. Plus a RG could always get help from the Center. So you are saying Scherff helped out Moses? How When Moses had to go one on one with speed rushers. I think you got that the other way around.

I don't think you totally understand the RT position. Typically, they go against inferior pass rushers. Which pass rushers did Moses handle anyways?

You also claim Kojo could have filled in...was he even active?

Kojo would have been active if we didn't draft Scherff. This is a passing league, OT's are very important to a teams offensive success. No matter what side. You need strong pass protectors at tackle to succeed. Great pass rushers always flip flop to try to get an edge.

Kojo wouldn't even beat out Long. You make wild claims and expect us to believe you. RT is about as important as a guard...evidenced by pay. Evidenced by our history of allowing the interior pass rush crush our team.

Great pass rushers that don't flip flop...

Demarcus Ware
Tamba Hali
Actually, take a look at the top of the sack leaders and tell,me who does flip flop.

No jy. Why am I called out when I or anyone disagrees with one of Sm's moves? A lot of Skinsfans were on board with Williams. So are they all wrong too? gk, Kojo playing right away is not a wild claim. He was a high 4th round pick. Our interior pass rush crushed our team b/c we never had a real center. My opinion RT is more important than RG. Usually the big money guards play LG not RG. Like last night with Iupati for Ari.

The point with Williams is he did nothing. He had a very lackluster collegiate career and not an overly impresisive rookie season...maybe he is just overrated.

Earlier you claimed Scherff had never been an interior lineman too but haven't said a word since I brought up the Rimington Award.

Kojo being a solution is a wild claim because he can't beat out Long and hasn't proven he can do the job of a starting guard.

Our interior pass rush got crushed because we had guys like Chester playing guard. People got on Montgomery but he was actually a pro bowler I believe.

Compare the salaries for RT and RG. COMPARABLE.

Williams didn't do nothing? A 3-4 De is just not all about sacks. lackluster college career? He was the #1 overall prospect for a while on many peoples boards. I said Scherff was drafted as An OT. He played OT in his last year at Iowa. Most OT can play OG its not a huge stretch but most OG's can't play OT.

Oh please with that Monty comment. lol. That made my day.

scherf outplayed williams period and you dismiss scherf's upside as well . i agree with GK we have been burned by 30 and over signings for 2 decades . and in 3 years we will be looking for a new center

I am fully aware a DE is about more than sacks. They don't even have regular statistics for an OL so they are too.

As highly touted as Williams was, yes he was lackluster in college. On some people's boards, Williams was #1...on others he was not. Playing opposite Muhammed Wilkerson, with Todd Bowles as your coach, 3 sacks is very unimpressive.

Some OT can play inside. It is a very different position outside and frequently the guys that excel at OT are too soft for the interior. Scherff was drafted as an OL. He can play both T and G. I have already explained who he beat out for the job and won't do it again.

Tell me about the Monty comment. Please. I am not saying he was great but he did play near a pro bowl level for a couple years. What did we have at guard to be proud of? It is nowhere close to just being our center that caused all those problems.

Tell us again how great Kojo was. Explain how we should have counted on him when he couldn't beat out Long. Because that argument makes sense.
