For once I dont give damn just how lucky they are as I already had a game ticket to go to AZ next week and was so pissed when MN was lining up for the field goal as if it was good I would need to sell the damn AZ ticket as the Pack would be headed to Charlotte and then when he kicked that I was like YESSSSSSSSSSS!

It's his shtick
Yeah, this whole thread is dumb, I'm going to bed. The Hawks won a playoff game and they will move on to the next round. Nothing more, nothing less!!!

Exactly. Seattle goes to Carolina. Life goes on. You'll get over it.

Steven Hauschka said:
"Every kicker, if they play long enough, has something like that, and it sucks,” Hauschka said of Walsh, who hit from 22, 43, and 47 yards out before his miss. "I can’t imagine what it’s like for the season to end like that, so I mean some of it was out of his control and I’ll have to watch the play to see what actually happened, but I mean he was one of their best players out there today and it’s tough, tough. I feel for him a lot.

"I’m excited we won as a team, but it’s kind of a sick feeling too that you have when you see something like that happen.”

Damn Seahawks and their horrible celebrating!

Your team just got lucky in this one game. You should have lost.
Why is that? We gave them 3 points early in the game; they gave it back late. We scored a TD. They didn't. Shut down AP again. Why should we have lost?

It's quite simple. It's the same feeling you were having with 27 seconds to go. You were going to lose. A 27 yard chip shot FG from one of the league's best kickers. Regardless of what happened for the other 59+ minutes. Seattle should've lost. Could've Seattle scored if Walsh had made the kick? possibly? If you had to bet with 27 seconds remaining I think you would've bet that Seattle would lose.

Bottom line the Hawks are moving on. They won, Vikes lost. Good luck next week. That should be a slobber knocker. I hope Kam crushes Cam but the Panthers win.

Hammer, I watched the "whole" game. What's your point?
You've been around here long enough that you should know Hammer's shtick. He always takes every opportunity to stick his thumb in the eye of about a dozen fan bases. His is the highest horse in the land. Just feed it back to him or laugh about it. If you take it seriously he will eat you alive or at least laugh at you mercilessly. There was no ending that wouldn't have resulted in insults toward the Seahawks fans. Win or lose.

I always roll my eyes when some jackass athlete first brings up God after a win. I mean be religious and believe what you want, but no deity is pulling strings to help one team or another in any sport. Keep that shit out of it. They fucking all do it though.

In the last few years the Hawks have definitely benefited from a few lucky breaks. But they have also taken it in the shorts a few times (some self inflicted). However, a bit of a stretch to say in the history of the NFL. Shit, in my lifetime I consciously remember watching 6 Super Bowls before Seattle even had a team.
