Texas Jefe
Come and take it
one positive for Texas folks, at least we got some good youngsters to build on.
Alabama, well of course they do as well.

and as for quarterbacks, I'm really resting my hopes on this guy. Problem is, he still has his senior year to play. Wonder if it's legal to graduate a year early and head to college to play?
not a big, big deal. But rather have them than not...
Bama is just stacking them up; my team, Texas, needs a whole bunch more. But I think that one freshman class has a number of potentially very good players on it. If we can just get a couple more classes like that one, things should get much better.
And one quarterback, please.
So looking like Strong will get fired as the new coach will come in and look like a savior when these freshmen are now upperclassmen
You guise sound like Tennessee fans for the past 3 years...That is why:
TEXAS was good enough to beat OKLAHOMA and BAYLOR..
TEXAS was bad enough to lose to IOWA STATE.
Texas played essentially an entire team of freshman at times it seemed like...
Freshmen are maddeningly inconsistent but wildly talented.
All those freshmen are going to build something great soon if they stick around and get consistent.
The coach in 2017 is going to have a powerhouse in Austin.
Likely some other coach will get credit for the foundation that Charlie Strong built.
I doubt he lasts long enough to see them blossom as juniors and seniors.
