laughable. absolutely LAUGHABLE.

the quotes speak for themselves

Yes, they do. They say that you proved turnup's point for him. They said exactly what he said they did. Face it, you're wrong and the quotes you pulled prove it.

I'd like to know what you feel is inaccurate?

Statistically he has done what I thought.

I might be wrong about him being a long time fixture here, but if that's the case it's not because he didnt produce or melted down as you thought he might, it would strictly be a business decision that was made because the strength of his play made him a player that other teams will pay highly for.

Durantula is going to DC. That's the smart money.

Maybe. That's where he's from. I think the Lakers will offer him everything they can to come to LA. Their chances of landing him likely depend on how the young guys continue to develop.

I think he's probably tired of falling short every year and will likely go to the team that he thinks will give him the best chance of winning soon and long term. Whether or not that's the Lakers, depends on what the young guys show the rest of the way and who else they Lakers can get via FA.

Folks can bash Lebron and the Cavs all they want, but they turned the development of Kyrie and TT and some assets into Lebron, Love and a trip to the finals.

That would be a bad move for him. He's better off staying in OKC

Bad move? It's a great move. Paired with a PG like Wall in the EC with LeBron declining? Not to mention Bradley Beal. He has a better shot at getting to the Finals than in the brutal WC.

The Wiz are too young for him. The only positive if he goes there is he only have to worry about Cleveland while signing in the West means you have to worry about 3 or 4 teams

They might be, but Kyrie and TT were pretty young when Lebron joined them. If the Wizards are too young, then the Lakers are likely too young as well (although the Lakers have a couple of veteran role players who might help).

I think in the case of the Wizards and the Lakers (assuming both are in the running), it will be determined by what else they can add and, I'm not sure about it, but I think the Lakers will have more cap space available.

Trust me.....I'd be ecstatic if they landed him.

Me too. I agree with you that he likely goes to the Wizards, but you never know. I remember the smart money was that Lebron would stay in Miami, in part, because he wouldn't want to be a babysitter waiting for the youngsters to learn how to play.

Issue with the Wizards is they're strictly a perimeter team. At least TT and Love are low post players. That team basically would have no inside presence and its not like Beal and Wall can shoot like Klay and Steph.

I agree with what you're saying. If he wants the easiest route to the finals he is better off going to the Wiz but if he wants the better overall team, he should stay in OKC

True. They'd definitely have to add a post presence of some kind and may not have the assets to trade or the cap space to sign for one. The Lakers at least have Randle and even, to a lesser extent, Hibbert (if they re-sign him) for post presence.

As I've said before, the off-season is going to be very interesting.

Can we just give the Spurs the title and start FA now?

While I agree with you re: the Wizards being a perimeter team, I'm not sure he's with the better team if he stays in OKC. Remember, Durant is an FA this year, but Westbrook is an FA next year. What happens if Westbrook leaves? Or if OKC management decides they don't want to spend the money to help them get past the Spurs or GSW? I don't think OKC, as currently constructed, are good enough to get past those 2 teams.

Seriously? Wall, Beal, and Durant plus spare parts very well could be a better team.

The Cavs went from being an awful team to best team in the EC when James landed in Cleveland.

If Durant were to sign with the Wizards.......I could see the same thing happening.

I don't think anyone is saying they won't be one of the best teams in the East if they land Durant

To be fair to bks's point though, the Cavs have post players in TT and TinaFey Mozgov. They may not be the best post presence in the league, but it's more than the Wizards have.
