In all seriousness, I cant see him staying. There are just so many jobs opening up this year. Any young coordinator with a good reputation is likely to be gone and that certain fits Lincoln. Starting to feel like firing your coach is just the thing to do this year, because all the cool kids are doing it.

False. Navy has had 8 wins or more in 7 of their last 8 years. they didnt just beat East Carolina they killed them. and they've beat them 3 of the last 4 times they have played ECU. Not to mention they arent even in the same division.

Due to the P5 teams in the state of NC being anywhere from awful to average at best in most years, ECU fans have always had a delusional (or inflated) take on their potential.

With that said, this surprises me. ECU fans are pretty pissed that McNeill was fired.

I agree. McNeil had some pretty good teams at ECU. Before this year they had gone to bowl game three years straight and four of the last five years.
