Very happy to have held serve, but man, we've got to get more production from just Granderson and Murphy. Wright helped get things going in the first but then was quiet the rest of the game, Cespedes got lucky on that infield hit, and Duda looks awful.

Nice win Mets. I wouldn't mind seeing either team make it to the WS but since the Mets eliminated the Dodgers I'm pulling for them.

On the bright side, the pitching was pretty good all around despite having what seemed like Cubs on base for every pitch. Niese did his job, Reed and Clippard held, and Familia worked around a hit. Syndergaard wasn't throwing 100mph but he was effective for long enough.
