D is where we have invested - good to see that investment paying off.Looks like the Defense has to save the Offense's ass once again because they can't get it done.

I think Oakland looks legit. Did we play great? Of course not - but thought the Raiders had a good game plan.16-10 is too close for a Raiders game.
Oh, and I would doubt any O-lineman grades out in the plus in the run blk category.![]()
I had hoped the offense started turning the corner with Hillman's effort last week. Apparently I was wrong. At least the defense is fun to watch again.
I really wish the offense figures it out soon. We need long TD drives to compliment this nasty defense.
The thing is the offense may never figure it out because they just don't have the QB and o line to figure it out. It's hard to say but Manning is not a top tier QB any more. I agree the defense is not going to hold up forever but some of these int's by Manning are throws that shouldn't have ever been thrown. He is getting fooled by defenses plus add a weak arm and it's trouble down the road. Wasted a great offense over the last few years because of J.D.R. and the defense now the defense is one of the best and the offense is a joke. I keep saying it can't get any worse on offense but it has.
Yea the Broncos are looking a lot like some of the Kubiak Houston teams as a nice regular season team, but a true lame duck come postseason time or when the good teams come into play.
The good news is they still have time to figure it out on offense. Improvement from the OL should help. Remember everyone said Brady was done this time last year. That said I agree with your concerns about Manning his throws are not great and his decision making has been uncharacteristically bad which is going to cost the defense one of these games that they keep winning in spite of the opportunities Manning is handing the opposing teams. I still feel a lot things will open up if the OL can get itself together. I just don't know if that will happen this year.
And definitely agree the timing of the offensive demise sucks because with a halfway decent offense this team could really compete. Personally I think we lost our best chance in that Ravens playoff game a few years ago and yea JDR didn't help there.
