4/5ths of Oregon is rural, population #s are definitely high in the cities. Those rural redneck Republicans want nothing to do w/ the Feds or paying high taxes. I get it, they don't see any jobs/cash heading to their part of the State. Sorry lumber is down, sorry beef prices are down, sorry that manufacturing is down...start growing weed (cash crop) then suckers and sell it to the city dwellers...opps, don't smoke your own stash tho.

Rural people are self-serving and independent for the most part, but gawd they hang onto their dying industries to long.
