Georgia has beaten UL Monroe, Vanderbilt and S Carolina. And they're ranked 6/7th in the country? You could add those 3 teams together and they'd be the 4-6th best team in team in the SEC or Big 12 IMO.

That makes us 2-3 and lost all 3 by a total of 12 points. But the bottom line is there's really only two columns at the end of the day and now we've got 2 we shouldn't have gotten.

Tennessee is gonna have to address the QB problem if they hope to move forward.

AP Poll this morning showed me the bias many have for Alabama. Alabama loses to Ole Miss and gives up a ton of points to them in the loss. Florida beats Ole Miss 35-10 and Ole Miss gets their TD late in the game. But yet the undefeated Florida Gators are ranked 3 spots behind Alabama. They are going to do everything they can to get that team in the final 4. I know Alabama beat Georgia but I just do not think Georgia is that good of a team and Ole Miss was ranked #3.

You should also note that Bama had more time of possession, more 1st downs, more rushing yards and more passing yards against Ole Miss. Additionally, MS got 14 points on out-of-character fumbles by AL deep in their own territory. And did you see the TD they got on that nearly botched snap, and near sack, which turned into a bad pass which was nearly intercepted, but somehow turned into a TD for Ole Miss?

Honestly, I despise Alabama but they went on the road and pounded a very good Bulldog defense. GA is weak on the offensive side but their D is terrific and they got embarrassed.

As for the rankings on the Gators, they moved up like 10 spots didn't they? It's hard to move much more than that no matter what you do. And if you'd seen them play the week before, you'd know the only reason they are undefeated is b/c Tennessee's HC went brain dead.

Its not Ron Washington is it? HA! I knew the situation in the Alabama-Ole Miss game but to me if two teams play the same team and one loses and the other wins regardless on how they lose or win the team that is undefeated should be ahead of the one who is not. I really do not think Georgia is all that great. You as a Vol fan but a person of reason would agree that this is not the SEC we all once knew. There are a lot of mediocre teams (which can be said about all the conferences) but they even had Auburn up around 6 to start the year. So when they keep moving these SEC teams up because they beat another middle of the road SEC team they vault way up there. And personally, I would like to see your Vols rise to the top. I love that area of the country.

All these polls are a bunch of baloney to begin with really. Why on earth have a poll before the season starts? And how can a team, like say Florida State two years ago, come into the next season and not be ranked - if you're going to have a ranking - # 1 (since they went undefeated), until they lose is just beyond me.

SEC is down this year, not doubt about it. Part of the problem are my beloved Vols. But I don't want to get into that. ha ha ha

And you mention Auburn being rated highly. I personally thought they had a good, not great team. But they've completely spit-the-bit. But if you notice every year they'll be at least one, and sometimes two teams in the top 10 early on who are lucky to be in the top 25 at seasons end.
