yesterday, the guy I am playing forgot to start his defense at 12. So, at 12:05, I went and pickup and dropped all remaining Free Agent defenses to put them on the wavier so he couldn't add one.

Im currently winning by 2 points with Davante Adams to go and he is done

This better be a high stakes money league... Fantasy is supposed to be fun, there is no fun winning a week when you are against an incomplete team...

But if this was a high stakes money league, fantasy is as much about winning as it is to be fun, and any strategy to win is a good one..

In my opinion, the higher the stakes, the bigger dick a move like this makes you. Shame on the other dude for putting himself in that idiotic position, but only dicks take advantage of that

IDK, if this was a million dollar league, and I needed to win, why not go balls to the wall... Strategy is part of the game... and strategically taking advantage of other owners is a valid strategy... But in a normal money league, or in free leagues fantasy ethics and morals are more important IMO...

Don't do it. .I'm the guy who calls/texts/emails my opponent when they've got an injured/bye wek player in their lineup

I did that this week in one of my leagues. My opponent was starting Brees. He added Weeden just in time.... nor much difference, but at least I didn't lose to a QB-less team... which I would have.

If it's clearly understood to be a no-holds-barred cagefight kind of a league, okay - otherwise it's the stereotypical douche play. (In fact if you add and drop on the same day that shouldn't put a player on waivers anyway, so that's a mistake in how the site was set up.)

Dick move, done it myself. Ended up helping another dick in the league who was the commissioner and used that waiver churn to make a trade with the guy I blocked.

If it was a million beans on the line I predict you would be found in a canal somewhere that is not strategy that is cheating in my book. that is the reason why some leagues force you to keep an add for at least 24 hrs. or some leagues cap the weekly adds because of moves like that

If I'm commish you would be gone for a move like that

Knowing your league, and knowing how to take advantage of it is a valid strategy IMO... In fact the most important way to win your league is to know the rules and scoring...

I do agree, my whole point is that when the game REALLY matters(real life reasons), morals and ethics take a backburner as long as you follow the rules of the league...

If I am about to win a lot of money, I am not going to help you beat me...

IMO this is on the idiot that waited until after noon to pick a defense. If this churn had been done Saturday afternoon to lock defenses for 24 hours and hose the guy, then it's a dick move.

Who waits until after noon to set their lineup? I'm not talking about a last second swap, but not populating a defense at all.

My guess is the guy who didn't populate a defense still hasn't noticed, and won't.
