I think this might be the biggest farce this organization has ever tried to put over the fans.

This trumps Gibbs talking about how Brunell is fighting his guts out every week after another horrid performance.

This trumps G. Williams not being able to find a "package" for Arrington after he and Dan got into a spat over money.

This trumps McNabb not being in shape to run a 2 minute offense.

Just say you wanted to see Cousins with the 1's. We are an educated fan base. We would completely understand. I wish this organization would stop insulting our intelligence over and over again.

Sheffer hit it on the nose. Gruden wants no part of RG, and ownership resisted. That is why he is still on the roster.

I know some of you, if it most you will call me a conspiracy theorist, but don't pass your naivete over here. Not interested. I like Cousins and RG. That's not what this post is about.

It's not about 3. It's about the lies that continue to come out of Ashburn. It's about Snyder promising to let go of football decisions, yet pulling rank when it comes to 3. It's the way this franchise continues to operate that is wearing on me.

I just hope Cousins can move this team the way he did a couple of times last year and the way he did in Atlanta a couple of years ago. I like Kirk. I am hoping he can put an end to what was and has been a fiasco of an off-season. Sunday can't get here soon enough.

And talk like this is the reason I had hoped they would just release him and let the chips land where they may. As much as I think Portis is a nut, he said it right. The fan base is currently divided between Redskins fans and RG3 fans. Redskins fans WISH like hell he would have worked out and proved those of us who expected this outcome to be wrong. But we also realize that if the team kept throwing time and resources into RG3 that all it does at this point is hinder the rest of the team.

RG3 fans feel that the team has some how let him down and continues to not realize that he is our best hope of eventually becoming a good team.

Yes Gruden was hired under the idea that he could FIX RG3. But as a mechanic I tend to look at it like this. If some one brings me a mechanical problem and at first glance I say sure i can fix it, but after further review I find that fixing the problem would be more costly than simply replacing the entire vehicle, its neither in my or the customers best interest to throw time and resources into something that is deemed beyond repair.

Two coaches inside Ashburn have now decided that Robert will never be more than he is... an option QB. Multiple others outside Ashburn have voiced the same opinion.

So what do we do?? Go back to the 2012 offense which HE has decided he doesnt want to run AND has shown he can not stay healthy enough to run in any case. Or simply move on, and hope like hell that being demoted actually gives him time to reflect and motivation to fix what can be fixed??

But the whole conspiracy theory is out the window because at the end of the day, Gruden and SMGM would have been crazy to continue down the path of RG3 at all costs. I can fully accept that this season is all about seeing what we have in the young guys and where we need to go heading forward. And Im sorry if some fans cant accept that RG3 is counter productive in trying to asses the team. Because at the end of the day, as long as he is the starter the whole story is about RG3 and the other 52 guys. Right now we are finally at a point where it SHOULD be about 52 players and oh we happen to have an over hyped under performing injury prone backup QB.

again when a reporter comes up with a name to a source then all of that is bogus in my opinion . if your arent man enough to say what you have to say and accept the consequences then dont say it

every owner has final say , every single one of them

I have said from day 1 that if Gruden's ass is on the line, he should have the right to go out swinging with his guys. Just say that though. Don't insult my intelligence. I also hope you weren't lumping me in with the RG3 fans. I have held RG accountable for his part in this numerous times. Like I said, this is bigger than RG3. My post is about the continued dysfunction at Redskins park.

Fact: Griffin was ruled to have a head injury (For those of us that have watched this team that was apparent as the kid has not been right in the head since the end of 2012)

Fact: Once a concussion is in play, the teams hands are basically tied until the player is cleared by some one outside the organization.

Anything outside of that is pure speculation. Do I think Gruden used the concussion to do what he obviously has wanted to do for months?? Hell yes.

Do I think he was smart in doing it?? Again hell yes.

Every team has a bit of misinformation floating out there about players and whats going on. I dont think this is a case of trying to insult our intelligence so much as a case of trying to manage an unmanageable clusterfuck.

The Green Bay Packers are owned by 360,584 stockholders and governed by a Board of Directors and Executive Committee. None of the Packers' owners or executives have ultimate veto authority.

I'm with you, been saying for a while now. Just too many weird things going on here. And yeah I do believe Snyder is involved in keeping him on the roster, from what we know of him not sure how this can be dismissed. As for all other owners having final say on the roster that's simply not the case in other cities, not even close.

and again show me an owner who doesnt have or use final say over his team . most will go with their football guys but everyone reports to the boss and the boss says yeah or nay

to believe otherwise is foolish

But Snyder said he was embarrassed and just tired of losing. That being said I am glad he stepped in for RG3 because I like him better than McCoy, but I am upset at the same time because it speaks to a bigger issue, one we have been dealing with since he bought the team. So Scot has final say as long as Dan agrees with it. Lol. In all fairness though I am not sure is Scot was on board with cutting RG3. I was reported that Scot was ready to move on from Robert.

There is nothing clear in information about the cumulative effects of concussions. This will be 3 for Griffin. And when he got the concussion is not clear. Just look at Jordan Reed and his ongoing concussion issue last year for proof of that.

So no chance that the player is just fragile?? And come on, when you play like shit and have the audacity to come out and say "I am the best QB ever!!"

Hell they are trying to say he must have long term concussion symptoms. Because otherwise, the kid is just brain damaged with some of the shit that comes out of his mouth. :)

So we are using Jordan Reed as a litmus test for injures now. You could sneeze on that dude and he'd be out for a month.

Compared to the QB who has had a knee rebuilt twice, missed 6 weeks from a dislocated ankle where he was never touched, and has his third head injury in five years..

As I suggested earlier, maybe both players are just fragile???
