I Absolutely believe he can be a great QB if it happens we have another player to sign in the offseason if he doesn't were looking at a QB in round 1
I think the bigger question is....what if Kirk Cousins plays just OK or average? He's due a new contract. Do they commit to someone with his limited track record and hope he develops more? I can just see Cousins being just good enough to keep the Skins out of position of drafting a top QB prospect (if there are any) and destined to hover in mediocrity.
If KC throws 25-30 TD's this year he will be our QB for the future. Even if we go 7-9 and just miss the playoffs why wouldn't you keep him?
If Cousins plays good he will be our QB. He will get a decent contract. If McCoy stays as a backup there would be no need to draft a QB. The only way we draft a QB is if KC totally bombs.
I agree with that but if KC does well we don't draft one.

We will be drafting a QB next draft. Where we draft him depends on how KC performs. If it's just avg or worse, we will draft one fairly high. But this doesn't mean he replaces KC immediately. We can use KC as a stop gap for a couple of years until the young guy is ready. Hopefully we have learned as lesson that throwing rookie QBs into the fire rarely works. Let's remind ourselves of this track record.....schuler, Ramsey, Campbell, Griffin
