I don't think the front office or ownership cares if the team wins or not since they are making a profit losing.

The fans deserve a real team in Seattle. not this horse crap.

Exactly what most of us have been saying. For any other team, they'd have to have successful players in order to fill seats. If they had to deal with the garbage moves we do around here, those people would not last a season, my guess.

But then, they call it "The Mariner Way" for a reason.

Ya I went back and read about it after seeing your post. For 'Cash Considerations'. That might be the best return on a $1.50 the M's have ever done.

Except for loosing games!!!! Pretty big risk if you ask me. He is instantly the worst pitcher in the Cubs bullpen.

Unless you are just going to use him in slop time when the rosters expand, I don't see the point.

I can see why the Cubs would take a flier on him.

Has he been terrible this year? Ab-so-fuckin'-lutely would probably be an understatement.

But did he convert 48/51 saves last year? Indeed he did. He has upside, at worst, the Cubs just cut him if he sucks. At best they could add an all-star closer.
