I've seen Stafford fling it 70 yards through the air in college. I'm not sure I've seen anyone else top that.

Stafford claims he can toss it 75 yards I just haven't seen it. Mind you the 70 yard throw I'm talking about was in a game and he overthrew the receiver by quite a bit.I'll just leave this here..... 71 and 74 yds thrown in the comp.
Thats the quote, yes. He couldn't even throw it 40 by the time he got to the Rams.Didn't the Ravens draft Kyle Boller because he threw the ball like 70+ yards from one knee in a pre-draft work out with them?

I remember seeing a stat somewhere last year that Stafford also had the worst short yardage accuracy, too. Stafford, Flacco, Cutler and Newton are definitely the top tier of the current guys, imo. Mettenberger is probably up there, tooLongball is different I think than a strong arm ... watching Stafford throw the ball stands out from the rest IMO ... here's a good list:

Brady won the long toss at the QB skills competition at the Pro Bowl in his 3rd or 4th year with a throw of just over 70 yds.
I would think that most NFL QB's can fling it that far considering I am fast approaching 55 and I can still throw it 50 yds. I Russell Wilson's size BTW and most of these guys are huge.
